Clara Begay

NASCHITTI — Services are pending for Clara Begay, 84.

Begay died Feb. 4, 2010, in Albuquerque. She was born Feb. 12, 1925, in Naschitti.

Desert View Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Chenoah Bigman

FARMINGTON — Funeral services for Chenoah Renee Bigman will be 10 a.m., Monday, Feb. 8, at Mother of Mankind, St. Michaels. The Rev. Gilbert will officiate. Burial will be in St. Michaels Community Cemetery.

Bigman died Feb. 3, 2010, in Farmington. She was born Sept. 3, in Shiprock.

Bigman was an energetic, lovable and boisterous baby. She loved being around family and had a beautiful, bright smile. She will be missed.

Survivors include her parents, Rebecca Ben, Stinsen Bigman; brother, Landen Bigman; sister, Nanibah Bigman; grandparents, Calvin Ben Sr., Evelyn Beyale, James Bigman Sr.; great-grandparents, Sarah E. David, Mae Bigman.

Bigman was preceded in death by Caroline Lee Ben, Clara Wilson, Sheryl Renee Ben, Frank David, Louise Beyale, Tom Bigman.

Pallbearers will be Stinsen Bigman, Calvin Ben Jr., Jonah Johnson, Stepson Bigman.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Fort Defiance Chapter House, following services.

Silver Creek Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Nora Watchman

SHEEPSPRINGS — Funeral services for Nora R. Watchman, 83, will be 10 a.m., Monday, Feb. 8, at Full Gospel Church. Edward Jim will officiate. Burial will be in Sheepsprings.

Watchman died Feb. 4, 2010, in Gallup. She was born June 6, 1926, in Sheepsprings, into the Edge Water People Clan for the Towering House People Clan.

Watchman was a homemaker. Her hobbies included softball games, bingo, coloring, puzzles and being with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Harrison Watchman; sons, Wilbert Watchman, Wilton Watchman, Ernest Watchman, Carolton Watchman, William Watchman; daughters, Sadie Dez, Pauline Watchman; brothers, Boyd Billie, James Billie; 18 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

Watchman was preceded in death by her daughter, Nancy W. Johnson; brother, Tony Billie; parents, Nellie and John Billie.

Pallbearers will be Ernest Watchman, Wilton Watchman, Carlton Watchman, Benson Dez, Timothy Smith, LeKander Curley.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Sheepsprings Chapter House, following services.
