GALLUP The following food service facilities were inspected by the New Mexico Environment Department: Salsas Four high-risk violations were found in a Feb. 20 inspection; no test strips were available for Quat this is a repeat violation; the Coca-Cola refrigerator had milk stored in it this was a repeat violation; raw meats were stored above ready-to-eat foods in three different refrigeration units and the marinade was temperature tested at 63 degrees Fahrenheit. It was corrected on site and marinade was disposed of. Two moderate-risk violations were found; no coving behind grill; this is a repeat violation and the wall and ceiling damage from a previous water leak was not fixed; this is a repeat violation. Two low-risk violations were found; light bulbs in the food preparation area were unprotected and onions were being stored directly on the floor. At a follow-up investigation on Feb. 23 one high-risk violation was found; ground beef was found on the steam table reheating at 64 degrees. This was corrected on site by reheating on stovetop. |
