Restaurant report Copyright © 2009 Note: All facilities received an approved status after the inspection/risk assessment GALLUP The following food service facilities were inspected by the New Mexico Environment Department: Little Rabbit Deli and Bakery Two low-risk violations were found in a Feb. 19 inspection; potatoes were being stored directly on the floor and trash must be stored inside a container. Giant #072 No violations were found in a Feb. 19 inspection at Giant #072. All food is prepackaged for purchase and is heated by customer. Wimpys Five high-risk violation were found in a Feb. 19 inspection; no soap was at the hand wash station, tools and chemicals were stored above the ice machine bin, ready-to-eat food was stored below leaking compressor drain, an employee drink with no lid was in the food preparation area. All these violations were corrected immediately. A Corrective Action Response Required notice was issued for the violation of a compressor inside the walk-in cooler which was draining into a bucket and needed to be corrected to be connected to drain into a sanitary sewer. Correction must be completed by Feb. 27, 2009. Four moderate-risk violations include; cardboard being used to soak up grease on floor by deep fryer, non-food surfaces of equipment had food buildup, no test strips for sanitizer and a non-commercial microwave was in use. Two low-risk violations; damaged and missing floor tile and coving. |
