Homecoming

GALLUP — Gallup Catholic School vs. Magdalena High School, Feb. 21. Games and homecoming activities schedule moved to 12 p.m. There will be 2 JV games at noon, homecoming activities between 2 JV gams at 1:30. Girls varsity game at 3 p.m., with boys varsity game following.

BACA — Now enrolling for the Family and Child Education Program at Baca/Dlo’ay azhi Community School. Call 505-876-2769 ext. 272. Home-base families with children from prenatal to 3 years old. Center-base children from ages 3-5 years old. Adult Education for parents/caregivers with children ages 3-5 years old. Recruiting in Prewitt, Haystack, Thoreau, and surrounding areas. FACE is a successful program that helps parents address their own educational needs and to prepare their children for school.

TOHATCHI — NNRCA Board of Directors meeting will be 6:30 p.m., Feb. 20, at Choosh’gai Community School Board Room, Tohatchi. All Board of Directors attend meeting and open to public. Be on time.

Native Gathering

HIV/AIDS

GALLUP — Non-profit Native American HIV/AIDS prevention, outreach, and direct care service organization to express our future event in hosting a “Mother Daughter Celebration” for National Women and Girl HIV/AIDS Awareness Day in Chinle, March 10. 60 slots to fill, 30 mothers, 30 daughters (daughters must be over age 12).
