Denny’s fixes food violations

GALLUP — The following food service facilities were inspected by the New Mexico Environment Department:

Denny’s East
3810 E. Highway 66
Gallup

The N.M. Environment Department inspector John Rhoderick approved the correction of violations at Denny’s east on Thursday. All violations listed in the Feb. 11 report were corrected, a receipt for roof repair was provided and the restaurant was approved to open. Some nonfood contact surfaces still needed cleaning, some floor tile was broken, missing or needed grout, and the cutting board surfaces were still chipped and scored but the hood was steam cleaned and all other violations were corrected.
