Pancake breakfast
GALLUP Community Swedish pancake breakfast, topped with
berries, syrup and cream, along with bacon, sausage, and egg casserole,
will be 9-11:30 a.m., Feb. 14, at the Bethany Church, 1110 South
Strong Dr., Gallup. Tickets: $7.50 or 2 for $14 ($8 at the door),
children, ages 5-10, $4.50. Children under 5 free. Call 722-6444

Valentines Dance
GALLUP 3rd Annual Special Olympics area 6 Valentines dance
will be 6:30-9:30 p.m., Feb. 13, at Wowies Gym. Could used
help with decorations, food and drinks.
Hoof Care
GANADO Support our Equine Assisted Therapy Program by
participating in our hoof care school, Feb. 13-14, at the Sage
Memorial Hospital facility, Ganado. The tuition is $50 per student.
All proceeds will benefit our wonderful therapy horses which are
used as tools for therapy that benefit mentally and physically

Grazing Committee
ST. MICHAELS District Grazing committee orientations for
Chinle and Fort Defiance Agencies will be 9 a.m., Feb. 13, at
the St. Michael Chapter House. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.
Orientations for District Grazing Committee will be conducted
at the agency level. Will cover, authorities under Navajo Nation
Code, Title 3, Agriculture and Livestock and more. Info call 9285-871-6605.
This is a mandatory meeting for Chinle and Fort Defiance Agency
Grazing Officials.
Board Meeting
CHINLE Navajo Technical College Board of Trustees regular
board meeting will be 9 a.m., Feb. 13, at the Holiday Inn Canyon

Federal Funds
McKinley County has been awarded federal funds under the Emergency
Food and Shelter National Board program. The money is to supplement
emergency food and shelter programs in McKinley County. Only nonprofit

Blood Drive
GALLUP United Blood Services community blood drive will
be Feb. 12-13, at the RMCHCS. Thursday hours will be 2-7 p.m.,
and Friday 8 a.m.-12 p.m. Provides a free cholesterol screening
with each donation. Volunteer donors must be at least 16 years
old, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health. Donors who
are 16 must have signed permission froma parent or guardian. to

Benefit Dance
GALLUP Down Under Benefit dance will be 9
p.m.-1 a.m., Feb. 13, at the Gallup National Army. Featuring:

Special Meeting
WINDOW ROCK Special meeting of the Human Services Committee
of the Navajo Nation Council will be 9 a.m., Feb. 13, at the Budget
and Finance Committee conference room, Window Rock. Topic: Expedite
coordination with DPM, OMB, OP/VP, and DOJ concerning current
financial status and update.
