Adelina Padilla

GALLUP — Funeral Mass for Adelina Padilla, 92, will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 3, at Little Sisters of the Poor. The Rev. Tathlias will officiate. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Visitation will be 8:30-10 a.m., Feb. 3, at Little Sisters of the Poor. A rosary will be recited 10 a.m., Feb. 3, at Little Sisters of the Poor.

Padilla died Jan. 29, 2009, in Gallup. She was born June 31, 1916, in Cuba, N.M.

Survivors include her sons, Richard Padilla of Gallup, LeRoy Padilla of Albuquerque; daughters, Lala Martinez of Gallup, Thelma Pena of San Antonio, Texas, Betty Martinez of Gallup, Shirley Hernandez of Albuquerque; brother, Philiman Gonzales of Berallio; sisters, Martina Chavez of Bernallo, Pauline Montano of Albuquerque; 19 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren.

Padilla was preceded in death by her parents, Pablo Gonzales, Candelaria Gonzales; husband, Trinidad Padilla; sons, Borio Facio Padilla, Leo Padilla; four grandchildren; brothers, Jose Gonzales; sisters, Benabento Gonzales, Virgina Pedroza, Estrella Baca, Ramona Betacur.

In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

BLUEWATER ACRES — Shain, 85, died Jan. 24, 2009, in Bluewater Acres. He was born June 25, 1923, in Louiville, Ken.

Cope Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
