Home/Garden Show
GALLUP UNM-Gallup Home and Garden Show
will be April 25-26, in Gurley Hall. Tables will be in Gurley
Hall April 25, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. with UNMG Construction Technology
program, Professor Jeanne Martinez-Welles seed exchange
group, Holiday Nursery, Gallup Solar, Shelter plus Design, Habitat
for Humanity, Krouth Construction Company, Hunger Grow Away and
Gallup Lumber. April 26 at 12 p.m., Krouth Construction Co. will
give the seminar Passive Adobe, which will include
green building topics on solar adobe, and more. 2 p.m. April 26,
there will be home tours, demos and field trips, including a presentation
by Shelter plus Design on Alternative Energy-Structural Insulated
Panels or SIPS, in the Construction Technology Building Room 107.

Birth Certificates
NAVAJO Navajo county vital records office
can provide Arizona birth certificates. Office hours are Mondays
and Fridays 8:30 a.m.- noon, 1-4 p.m. This Friday April 25, and
next Friday, May 2, the Navajo County Vital Records Office will
be closed. Can do Arizona birth certificates up to the birth year
1950, for those born in a hospital. Also, can do death certificates
from 2000 to present and must have occurred in Navajo County.

Parent Training
SHIPROCK Training for parents with special-needs
children will be 10 a.m.-3 p.m. May 8, in the Shiprock Board Room
in cooperation with the EPICS Project. Parents need to pre-register
by May 2 by calling Sandra Ration 505-368-5163.
Parent/Teacher Conferences
DALTON PASS Dalton Pass Headstart Parent/Teacher
Conference will be 1-3 p.m., April 21-24. The conference is to
review your childs progress.
