Francisco Apachito
PREWITT Funeral services for Francisco
Apachito, 79, will be 10 a.m., April 18, at the Lighthouse Assembly
of God Church, Grants. Burial will be in Grants Memorial Park.
Apachito died April 14, 2008, in Prewitt. He
was born July 27, 1928, in Alamo, N.M., into the Waterflow People
Clan for the Towering House People Clan.
Apachito was preceded in death by his parents,
Antonio Apachito, Biya Apachito; brothers, Tom Apachito, Gholian
Apachito, Earl Albert, Thomas Apachito, Ernesto Apachito.
Pallbearers will be Steven Apachito, Rudy Apachito,
Earl Albert, Tom Apachito, Thomas Joe Apachito, and Wesley Cayaditto.
The family will receive relatives and friends
at Later-Saint Christian Church, Grants, following services.

Raymond Garinger
BLUEWATER Burial and graveside services
for Raymond Garinger, 80, will be 1 p.m. April 18, at the Santa
Fe National Cemetery, 501 Guadalupe Street, Santa Fe. Visitation
will be 5-7 p.m. tonight, April 17, at Compassion Mortuary.
Garinger died April 15, 2008, in Gallup. He
was born March 11, 1928, in Wilkes Barre, Penn.
Garinger was retired from the Cibola County
Sheriffs Department. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Marines, serving
during World War II.
Survivors include his children, Carol Ledingham
of Thoreau, Michael Garinger of Grants; four grandchildren; six
great-grandchildren.
Garinger was preceded in death by his wife,
Dorothy Claire Garinger; parents, Roy Garinger, Frances Fultz
Garinger; brothers, Albert Garinger, Wesley Garinger; sisters,
Norma Taylor, Hazel Winter, Millie Garinger.

Kenneth Largo
MARIANO LAKE Services for Kenneth Wilson
Largo, 79, will be 10 a.m. Friday, April 18, at the Jones Dehiya
residence, Mariano Lake. Pastor Tulley H. Lee will officiate.
Burial will be in Thoreau Community Cemetery.
Largo died April 13, 2008, in Mariano Lake.
He was born March 15, 1929, in Mariano Lake, into the Red Running
Into the Water People Clan for the Salt People Clan.
Largo worked for many years with Santa Fe Railroad,
and was a World War II veteran. Largo was an avid reader, enjoyed
watching rodeos, and spending time with his grandchildren and
great-grandchildren.
Survivors include his sons, Ernest Largo, Jay
Largo, both of Thoreau; daughter, Carole A. Lee of Rigby, Idaho;
sisters, Esther L. Charley of Smith Lake, Alice Tolth of Coolidge,
Julia Largo of Mariano Lake; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
Largo was preceded in death by his wife, Lucy
C. Largo; mother, Christine Hudson; father, Wilson Largo; brothers,
Joe W. Largo, Arthur W. Largo; daughter, Sarah Largo.
Pallbearers will be Caramine Largo, Jay Largo, Michael J. Lee,
Darrell Thompson, and McTerry Dakai.
The family will receive relatives and friends
at Jones Dehiya residence, following services.

Roderick Snyder
MARIANO LAKE Funeral services for Roderick
James Snyder, 37, will be 10 a.m. Friday, April 18, at Rollie
Mortuary, Gallup. Pastor Harry D. Largo will officiate. Burial
will be in Gallup City Cemetery. Visitation will be at Rollie
Mortuary 2-4:30 p.m., today, April 17.
Snyder died April 13, 2008, in Crownpoint. He
was born Oct. 10, 1970, in Rehoboth, into the Start of the Red
Streak People Clan for the Red Running Into the Water People Clan.
Snyder graduated from Thoreau High School in
1989, and attended the Crownpoint Institute of Technology. He
worked with Giant Industries in Jamestown, Great Plains Pipeline
Construction Inc., Minneapolis, Minn., Southwest Equipment Co.,
Albuquerque, Laborers Union Local #872, Las Vegas, Nev., and Desert
Diamond Casino, Tucson. Snyder was a member of Laborers International
Union of North America, Las Vegas. His hobbies included playing
football for the Thoreau Hawks, watching his brother/sons/nephews
ride bulls. He also enjoyed being a chef.
Survivors include his stepfather, John Naranjo;
brothers, Fredrick J. Snyder of Church Rock; sisters, Lynn Eve
Naranjo, Lou Ella Naranjo, both of Albuquerque; grandparent, Jean
T. Mariano of Mariano Lake.
Snyder was preceded in death by his mother,
Ada J. Snyder; grandfathers, Tom Snyder, Wilson H. Mariano.
Pallbearers will be Josh Snyder, Brent Snyder, Adrian Todachine,
Henry Charley Jr., Rodney Walthall and Rollen Walthall.
The family will receive relatives and friends
at Mariano Lake Chapter, following services.

Karen Truelock
ALBUQUERQUE Services for Karen Arnold
Truelock, 65, will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 18, at the Daniels
Family Funeral Services Wyoming Chapel, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE.,
Albuquerque.
Truelock died Sunday, April 13, 2008. She was
born Oct. 20, 1942, in Albuquerque.
Survivors include her sons, Rex Truelock of
Albuquerque, Rick Truelock of Campbell, Texas; daughter, Janice
Schmaltz of Gallup; sister, Anita Sterchi of Albuquerque; mother,
Amelia Arnold of Albuquerque; four grandchildren of Gallup.
Truelock was preceded in death by her father,
Samuel Arnold.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to
the University of New Mexico Cancer Center.
John Williams Jr.
GALLUP Funeral services for John B. Williams
Jr., 75, will be 1 p.m. Friday, April 18, at the Jesus Christ
of Latter-days Saints Church, Fort Wingate. President Donald Pine
will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Gallup.
Williams Jr. died April 14, 2008, in Phoenix.
He was born Dec. 1, 1932, in Bonaza, Ark.
Williams was a lifelong resident of Gallup.
He was a business man, general contractor and retired in Sept.,
2007. Williams was an elder in the church and served in many capacities,
the last one as Branch President of the Fort Wingate Branch of
the Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Church.
Survivors include his wife, Joanie Williams;
sons, Patrick John, Michael Elston, Therron T. Brown, Sean R.
Brown; daughter, Debrorah Kay Williams; brother, Robert Ray Williams;
sister, Betty Lou Williams; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Williams was preceded in death by Patricia Davis
Williams; parents, John B. Williams Sr., Violet Deleplancque Williams;
brother, George E. Williams.
Pallbearers will be Patrick John Williams, Jeramy Williams, Joshua
Williams, Sean Brown, Therron Brown, and Matthew Fry.
Donations may be made to The Perpetual Education
Fund of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Elias Yazzie
GALLUP Services for Elias Emerson Yazzie,
11-months, will be announced at a later date.
Yazzie died Monday, April 14, 2008, in Gallup.
Born May 21, 2007, in Galllup.
