Clean it up
Gallup become new junkyard dog
Existing junkyards or those which have been annexed by the city of Gallup are now being leaned up of face zoning violations. The director of planning and zoning, C.B. Strain, and City Attorney Dave Pederson made a trip around town looking at properties whose owners had been warned about collecting too many junked cars. This violates the city’s regulations on junkyard’s regulations, which require any salvage operations to be located outside the city limits. It seems most of the owners have complied.
