Bedonie died Wednesday, April 9, 2008, in Gallup.
Born Dec. 25, 1916, in Tohatchi.

Bessie Henio
SMITH LAKE Funeral services for Bessie
Curley Henio, 71, will be 10 a.m. Friday, April 11, at the Thoreau
Church of God. Rev. Jimmy Etsitty will officiate. Burial will
be in Thoreau Cemetery.
Henio died April 5, 2008, in Albuquerque. She
was born Jan. 10, 1937, in Smith Lake, into the Red Streak People
Clan for the Towering House People Clan.
Henio attended Intermountain and Baca Boarding
Schools. She was a silversmith and homemaker. Her hobbies included
sewing and doing crossword puzzles.
Survivors include her sons, Jerry G. Henio of
Salt Lake City, Utah, Jerryson Henio Sr. of Mariano Lake, Jeff
Henio of Smith Lake, Lawrence Delgarito of Smith Lake, Jeremy
Delgarito of Iyanbito, Jereme Delgarito Sr. of Smith Lake; daughters,
Verdy E. Jake of Smith Lake, Vivian Charley of Thoreau; brothers,
Yazzie Delgarito of Smith Lake, Nelson Delgarito of Smith Lake;
sister, Annie Rose Shortman of Cowsprings, Ariz.; 33 grandchildren;
23 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jereme Delgarito Sr., Herbert
Delgarito Sr., Philbert Delgarito, Hubert Delgarito, Pricilliano
Delgarito, and Michael Hudson.
The family will receive relatives and friends
at Smith Lake Chapter House, following services.

Nellie Pino
RAMAH Funeral services for Nellie B.
Pino, 82, will be 10 a.m. Friday, April 11, at the Ramah Jesus
Christ of Latter-day Saints. Bishop Allen Lewis will officiate.
Burial will be in Ramah Cemetery. Viewing will be 9 a.m. at the
Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Church.
Pino died April 8, 2008, in Zuni. She was born
April 7, 1926, in Ramah, into the Meadow People Clan for the Tangle
People Clan.
Pino was a homemaker and rugweaver. She was
formerly employed by Ramah Navajo School Board, Inc., Adult Ed.
as a culture teacher and she participated as a foster grandparent.
She received Cultural Awareness awards and was a member of the
Ramah Navajo Weavers Association. She helped weave the famous
Statue of Liberty rug, which hangs at the museum on Ellis Island
in New York. Her hobbies included rug weaving, sheep herding,
basket weaving, sewing, beadwork and crocheting.
Survivors include her husband, Tommy Pino; sons,
Donald Pino of Pine Hill, Vulian Pino of Pine Hill; daughters,
Cecelia S. Whitetail Eagle of Ramah, Diane K. Martine of Ramah,
Fannie Begay of Concho, Ariz., Ida P. Henio of Ramah, Estelle
P. Martine of Ramah, Loretta J. Pino of Sheridan, Calif.; sisters,
Rose Bob of Pine Hill, Amelia Delgarito of Pine Hill, Annie Chatto
of Ramah, Rose Marie Sage of Phoenix; 26 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
Pino was preceded in death by her mother, Alice
Luna Martine; father, George Beaver; sister, Mary Ann Pino; brother,
Randy Chavez Beaver; two sons.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Pino, Joseph Whitetale
Eagle Jr., Cornelius Henio, Roland E. Pino, Rajulio Pino and Chris
Higdon.
The family will receive relatives and friends
at the Jesus Christ of Ladder-day Saints Church, following services.

Paul Rawdon
DATIL, N.M. Funeral Mass for Paul T.
Rawdon, 74, will be 10 a.m. Friday, April 11, at the St. Teresa
of Avila Catholic Church, Grants. Burial will be in Grants Memorial
Park. A rosary will be recited 7 p.m. tonight, at the St. Teresa
of Avila Catholic Church.
Rawdon died April 9, 2008. He was born August
7, 1933, in Stroud, Oklahoma.
Rawdons family lived in Arizona, Texas
and New Mexico and settled east of Datil on the Rawdon ranch.
He attended a one-room school on the Augustine Plains, then Magdalena
grade school through high school, graduating in 1952. Rawdon served
in the U.S. Navy from 1952-1956. He moved to Grants, where he
worked for Standard Oil, and the mining industry until his retirement.
He l maintained the family ranch until his death. Rawdon was a
member of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Knoblock
Rawdon; daughters, Margie Blatnik, Donna Rutherford of Portales;
son, Jerry Rawdon; sister, Voncielle Frazier of Scottsdale; six
grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Rawdon was preceded in death by his parents,
Tom and Annabel Rawdon; brothers, Pete Rawdon, Don Rawdon.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to
St. Teresa Catholic School in Grants, 402 East High, Grants, New
Mexico, 87020.
