Gabriel Aragon
ALBUQUERQUE Funeral Mass for Gabriel
Aragon, 29, will be 10 a.m. Friday, April 11, at St. Francis of
Assisi Catholic Church, Gallup. Burial will be in Gallup City
Cemetery. A rosary will be recited 7 p.m., Friday, April 10, at
St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
Aragon died April 5, 2008, in Albuquerque. He
was born Oct. 6, 1978, in, Gallup.
Aragon attended Gallup schools and was active
in baseball.
Survivors include his mother, Ramona Aragon
of Gallup; children, Joe Ray Aragon of Grants, Gabriel Aragon
III of Albuquerque, Samantha Aragon of Grants; sisters, Michelle
Chacon of Aurora, Colo., Karrieann Aragon of Albuquerque, Shiela
Aragon of Gallup, Rosemary Baber of Albuquerque; brother, John
Ray Maldonado of Albuquerque; grandparents, Ben and Beatrice Chacon
of Gallup.
Aragon was preceded in death by his father,
Gabriel Aragon Sr.; grandparents, Carlos Aragon Sr., and Josie
Padilla.
Pallbearers will be Cory Baber, Chris Hammer,
Carlos Aragon, Ralph Aragon, Raymond Gallegos, Anthony Salazar
and Gary Longan.
Compassion Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Alice Davis
BLUEWATER STATE PARK Funeral services
for Alice L. Davis, 75, will be 10 a.m., Thursday, April 10, at
the Bethany Christian Reformed Church, Gallup. Rev. Raymond Slim
will officiate. Burial will be in Rehoboth.
Davis died April 5, 2008, in Gallup. She was
born June 6, 1932, in Standing Rock, into the Within His Cover
People Clan for the Jemez People Clan.
Davis was a homemaker, rug weaver and quilt-maker.
She enjoyed going to the Senior Citizens Center, and traveling.
Survivors include her sons, Edison L. Begay
of Iyanbito, Aaron Talley of Spencer Valley, Steven Hannah of
Fort Defiance; daughter, Mae Davis-Begay of Bluewater; brothers,
Johnson Largo of Crownpoint, Ronald Largo of Church Rock; 24 grandchildren;
16 great-grandchildren.
Davis was preceded in death by her husband,
Anslem G. Davis; sons, Michael Davis, George Davis.
Pallbearers will be Rody Begay, Cameron Saunders,
Russell Saunders, Mark Begay, Donald C. Begay Jr., and Raymond
Largo Jr.
The family will receive relatives and friends
at KC Hall, Gallup, following services.

B. Pino, 82.
Pino died Tuesday, April 8, 2008, in Ramah.
Born April 7, 1926, in Ramah, into the Meadow People Clan for
the Tangle People Clan.

Rogers Winter
GULFPORT, Miss. Memorial services for
Rogers Joseph Butch Winter, 63, will be announced
at a later date, in Perry, Florida.
