Leroy Hill

THOREAU – Funeral services for Leroy Hill, 63, will be 10 a.m. April 5, at Rollie Mortuary. Glenn Marshall will officiate. Burial will be in Gallup City Cemetery. Visitation will be at Rollie Mortuary.

Hill was born into the Two Who Came to the Water People Clan for the Towering House People Clan.

Hill was self employed as a silversmith. His hobbies included planting, livestock, wood hauling, watching WWF wrestling, hunting, and making other people laugh.

Survivors include his wife, Emma T. Hill; daughters, Sandra H. Yazzie; stepdaughter, Marcina Sandoval; mother, Grace S. Hill; brothers, Eddie Hill Sr., Raymond Hill, Les Hill; sisters, Elsie Pino, Ida Galvan, Reda Tom, Larend Robertson, LaVerne Acharia, Christine Pierce, Cindy Hill, Marlene Felipe; one grandchild.

Hill was preceded in death by his father, Mark Hill; brother, Henry Hill.

Pallbearers will be Les Hill, Raymond Hill, Eddie Hill Jr., Lorenzo Hill, Lester Hill, and Mark Galvan.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Thoreau Chapter House, following services.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
