CHICHILTAH — Funeral services for Zonnie C. Bee. 98, will
be 10 a.m., Monday, Dec. 29, at Rollie Mortuary, Gallup. Jerry
Yonnie will officiate. Burial will be in the family plot.
Bee died Dec. 24, 2008, in Zuni. She was born Aug. 10, 1910,
in Chichiltah, into the Red Running Into the Water People Clan
for the Water Edge People Clan.
Bee was a weaver, basket maker, homemaker, sheep herder, horse
whisperer and Navajo Herbalist. She was part of the Republican
National Committee, member of Compassion Harbor Family Outreach
Center, Vietnam Veteran mother and a Blue-Star grandma.
Survivors include her sons, Johnny Bee, Andy Bee, Tony Jaramillo,
Lindy Chee; daughters, Elsie Bee, Rose Bee, Nellie Bee, Mava Nez,
Bah Antonio; brother, Kee Etcitty; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren,
great-great-grandchildren.
Bee was preceded in death by her husband, John Bee; sisters,
Loraine Walley, Evelyn Brown; son, Glenn Smith; two infant children;
parents, Black Mustche, Nanabeh Jane Etcitty.
Pallbearers will be Malcolm Francisco, Alexi Jaramillo, Matthew
Bee, Naphtali Brown, Larson Barney, Jerome Nez.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Chichiltah Chapter
House, following services.

Reddye died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2008 in Flagstaff. He was born
Dec. 30, 1934 in Chilchinbeto, N.M.
