Restaurant report Copyright © 2008 Editor's note: All facilities received an approved status after the inspection/risk assessment report GALLUP The following food service facilities were inspected by the state of New Mexico Environment Department: Dennys #7437 Two moderate-risk violations was found during an inspection on Dec. 11; the surfaces and the edges of the cutting boards are scored and damaged and non-food contacts the surfaces of grill and hood. The reach-ins had grease film. Two low-risk violations were found; there was dust dirt and food debris on walls and some equipment and damaged and missing ceiling tiles throughout the facility. Aurelias Diner A Dec. 11 inspection revealed one high-risk violation at Aurelias Diner; some food debris on the can opener blade. The violation was corrected immediately on site. A moderate-risk violation was a non-commercial freezer in use and two low-risk violations were found; potatoes were being stored directly on the floor under the sink and one employee with long hair did not have a hair restraint. These were also corrected immediately on site. La Barraca Three high-risk violations were found during an inspection on Dec. 11; employee food was being consumed in the food prep area, raw meat and eggs were being stored above lettuce in the walk in and damp rags were laying on the counter top. All three violations were corrected immediately, on site. Two moderate-risk violations were found; cloth towels were being used to catch grease under the fryers, wood shelving in dry storage was bare wood, salsa, milk, salad dressings were being stored in the Dr. Pepper beverage cooler. One low-risk violation was found; exposed beams and insulation was found throughout the storage area. Quiznos Sub One high-risk violation was found in an inspection on Dec. 4; a damp rag was on the counter rather than stored in the sanitizer. This was corrected immediately. One moderate-risk violation was found; the cutting board surfaces are deeply scored. Dragon Express Only one moderate-risk violation was found in an inspection on Dec. 12. A small non-commercial freezer was being used and a commercial freezer is needed. Camilles Cafe There were no violations of any kind found during a Dec. 13 inspection at Camilles. The inspector noted that Camilles was a very clean facility. Jakes Acoma Bread One high risk violation was found at Jakes Acoma Bread; the hand-washing station needs to have a five gallon container with a spigot fill of warm water. Soap and paper towels are needed and a catch basin is needed for wastewater. Also a low-risk violation was found when the inspector saw the flow was not non-absorbent. |
