GALLUP — Jaime Rios, 30, of Gallup, was arrested Wednesday for felony possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, and for possession of paraphernalia.

Agents with the Middle Rio Grande Valley Drug Task Force arrested Rios at his 715 1/2 B West Aztec Ave. home during execution of a search warrant, according to spokesman McKinley County Sheriff’s Lt. George Justice.

“He was dealing,” Justice said. “That was the basis for our search warrant.”

At the time of his arrest, Rios also had three outstanding arrest warrants for past traffic violations. He was booked on all charges at Gallup McKinley Adult Detention Center.
