Helen Begay
JONES RANCH Funeral services are pending for Helen E.
Begay, 89.
Begay died Friday, Dec. 12, 2008, in Richfield, Utah. She was
born May 15, 1919, in Jones Ranch.
Desert View Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Paul Milligan
LAS VEGAS Memorial services for Paul Richard Milligan,
97, will be 12 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 17, at First Baptist Church,
SLC, Utah. Burial will be in SLC Cemetery, Utah. Visitation will
be one hour prior to services, at the church.
Milligan died December in Las Vegas, NV. He was born July 31,
1911, in Hutchinson, Kan.
Milligan attended Kansas University, BA, MD. He was an Orthopedic
Surgeon-SLC (1949-1974), Gallup (1974- retirement) and lived in
Gallup till Oct. 2007. He was a surgeon in the US Army WWII in
Europe, Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery, University of
Utah school of Medicine. Milligan was a member and president at
Utah Stereo Society, were he received many awards for his stereo
photographs. Fellow in PSA (Photographic Society of America).
He was a member of the Baptist Church, and served Cub Scouts in
SLC and Gallup. He was awarded Silver Beaver from BSA.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Kendrick Miligan of Las Vegas,
NV.; daughters, Caryn Clark of Gilbert, Ariz., Patricia "Patty"
Ellsworth of Las Vegas, NV; Shavna Stephenson of St. George, Utah;
15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.
Milligan was preceded in death by his daughter, Wendy Kesselring;
siblings, Alice Buttleman, Florence Pate Naylor, Silas Milligan,
Sheri Bernhardt; parents, William Henry Milligan, Lottie Cook
Milligan.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Clarkwest, Jason Ellsworth, Shane
Ellsworth, Christian Kesselring, Spencer Clark, Chad Ellsworth,
Seth Stephenson, Justin Kesselring.
Donations may be made to Boy Scouts of America.
Alice Tully
BLACK MOUNTAIN Funeral services for Alyce Julia Tully,
72, will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 16, at Black Mountain Mission,
Black Mountain. Burial will be in Black Mountain Community Cemetery.
Tully died Dec. 11, 2008, in Phoenix. She was born May 30, 1936,
in Black Mountain, into the Towering House People Clan for the
Water Flows Together People Clan.
Tully retired from Chinle Unified School District #24 as a bus
driver. She was a homemaker. Her hobbies included horseback riding,
and weaving.
Survivors include her sons, LlewellynTully, Leopold Tully, Walter
Tully; daughters, Gwendolyn Tully, Gernldine Klade; 20 grandchildren;
eight great-grandchildren.
Tully was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Tully; mother,
Lena B. Tully; father, John Billie; brother, Larry Billie; sister,
Lucy Billie; grandparents, Hatallii Nez, Tes'ni Choie bit sit.
Pallbearers will be Corwin Klade, Kermin Klade, Sheldon Klade,
Jerel Klade, Jerald Klade, Jaye Klade.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Tully's residence,
Black Mountain, following services. The family will meet 6 p.m.,
tonight, Dec. 15, at the Black Mountain home site.
Tse Bonito Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
