Della Belinda
GALLUP Services for Della Belinda, 91, will be 10 a.m.,
Thursday, Dec. 11, at Little Sisters of the Poor. The Rev.
Alfred Tachias will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial
Park, Gallup.
Belinda died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008, in Gallup. She was born
April 17, 1917, in Rock Point, Ariz.
Belinda worked at Fort Wingate Boarding School as a Dorm Attendant.
She enjoyed cross stitching and sewing.
Survivors include her daughters, Ella Mae Belinda of Gallup,
Delores Ann Wauneka of Albuquerque, Roberta J. Belinda of Gallup;
seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Belinda was preceded in death by her husband, Wilmere Belinda;
son, Wilbert C. Charles Belinda; daughters, Dorothy M. Belinda,
Katherine Mary Belinda.
Pallbearers will be DeWayne Frazier, Anthony W. Thompson, Brian
A. Thompson, Nicholas C. Thompson, Michael Wauneka, Robert F.
Wauneka.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Jimmie Chacho
PREWITT Funeral services are pending for Jimmie Chacho,
75.
Chacho died Dec. 8, 2008, in Prewitt. He was born Nov. 12, 1933,
in Prewitt.
A family gathering will be 5 p.m., Dec. 10, at Baca Chapter.
All friends and family are encouraged to attended.
Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Clyde Romero
HIGHLAND MEADOWS, N.M. Services for Clyde Joseph Romero,
39, will be 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 11, at Metropolitan Temple,
1120 2nd St., NW Albuquerque. A viewing will be 9-11 a.m., Dec.
11, at Metropolitan Temple.
Romero died Monday, Dec. 8, 2008, in Highland Meadows, NM. He
was born on April 16, 1969.
Romero was a lifelong resident of the Grants-Cibola County area.
Survivors include his partner, Odelia Garcia; sons Jonathan,
Robert, Anthony, Moises; mother, Eloyda Molina; sisters, Lisa
Maes of Grants, Mary Chavez of Rio Rancho.
Romero was proceeded in death by is grandparents, Floraido and
Elsie Romero.
Maryann Tracy
CROWNPOINT Funeral services for Maryann Tracy, 46, will
be 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, at Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
Church, Crownpoint. Branch president James Howell will officiate.
Burial will be in the family plot, Becenti.
Tracy died Dec. 8, 2008, in Farmington. She was born July 7,
1962, in Crownpoint, into the Sleeping Rock People Clan for the
Salt People Clan.
Tracy attended school in Utah, Grand Prarie, Texas, and graduated
from Gallup High School. She had various jobs. She loved to cook
and made the best burritos. She made sash belts; beaded items
and made dream catchers. Tracy loved to rock to the Scorpions.
Survivors include her husband, Michael Tracy Sr. of Crownpoint;
sons, Michael Steven Tracy Jr., Nathaniel Martin Tracy, both of
Farmington; daughters, Terri Ann Joe of Farmington, Chelesa Ann
Tracy of Crownpoint; mother, Mary C. Abeita of Crownpoint; brothers,
Jimmie Abeita of Gallup, Harrison Abeita, Emerson Abeita, both
of Crownpoint, Roger Abeita, Vern Abeita, Ernest Abeita, Marvin
Abeita, all of Albuquerque; sisters, Vivian Hubbard, Lorena Charles,
Laverne Watchman, all of Crownpoint, Vaida Black of Page, Velma
Abeita, Rosita Abeita, Debra, all of Albuquerque, Sheila Levaldo
of Farmington; two grandchildren.
Tracy was preceded in death by her father, Howard Abeita; grandparents.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Silver Creek Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
