Georgianna Mexican
TOHATCHI Funeral services for Georgianna
J. Mexican Gigi, 36, were 10 a.m., today, Dec. 5,
at Rollie Mortuary Palm Chapel, Gallup. The Rev. Jerry Eastridge
will officiate. Burial will be in Tohatchi Community Cemetery.
Mexican died Nov. 26, 2008, in Twin Lakes.
She was born Feb. 2, 1972, in Tuba City, into the Towering House
People Clan for the Deer Springs People Clan.
Mexican graduated from Tohatchi High School
in 1990. She proceeded with her education at UNM-Gallup and received
her certificate in Associate of Applied Science in Micro-Computer
Operation and Associate of Applied Science in Accounting. She
was employed with the Navajo Nation Police Department with information
management section. Mexican enjoyed various Native arts and crafts.
She was a creative and talented person and enjoyed sewing. She
also enjoyed coordinating holidays and birthday events for her
family, and listening to country music.
Survivors include her husband, Gilbert
Lee Mexican; sons, Brendon Lee Mexican, Keyani Lee Mexican; daughter,
Kristen Mexican; parents, George and Theresa B. Jimmie; brothers,
Kelsey Jimmie of Tohatchi, Cyrus Jimmie of Aztec, Julius Jimmie
of Phoenix; grandparents, Isabel J. Billy of Tohatchi, Bah Yazzie
Jimmie of New Lands.
Mexican was preceded in death by her son, Elijah Lee Mexican;
grandfathers, Tony Billy Sr., Hosteen Jimmie Sr.
Pallbearers will be Navajo Nation Police
Officers, Window Rock/Crownpoint District.
The family will receive relatives and
friends at Tohatchi Chapter House, following services.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Shawn McReeves
TOHATCHI Services for Shaw Dave
McReeves, 39, will be 12 p.m., today, Dec. 5, at United Pentecostal
Church, Tohatchi. The Rev. Jerry Eastridge will officiate. Burial
will be in family plot, Tohatchi.
McReeves died Dec. 1, 2008, in Gallup.
He was born Nov. 4, 1969, in Fort Defiance, into the Edge Water
People Clan for the Towering House People Clan.
McReeves attended Tohatchi High School,
and ITT Culinary Arts in Phoenix. He received awards from employment.
His hobbies included gourd dancing, tending to livestock, being
outdoors, Native Arts and crafts, cooking, traveling, telling
stories, and spending time with family.
Survivors include his mother, Lillian
Holyan of Tohatchi; brothers, Leonard McReeves, Marvin McReeves,
Lawery McReeves, Darrell McReeves.
McReeves was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tom and Annie
Holyan.
Pallbearers will be Robbie Holyan, Olin
Keiyoomia, James Silver, Herbert Bitsilly, Lawery McReeves, Leonard
McReeves.
The family will receive relatives and
friends at United Pentecostal Church, Tohatchi.
Silver Creek Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Springer
GALLUP Services are pending for
Harold Jay Springer, 72.
Springer died Friday, Oct. 31, 2008, in
Gallup. He was born Oct. 21, 1935, in Ganado.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Bruce Yazzie Jr.
RED ROCK Services are pending for
Bruce Yazzie Jr., 46.
Yazzie died Monday, Dec. 1, 2008, in Gallup.
He was born Aug. 31, 1962, in Zuni, into the Black Sheep People
Clan for the Folded Arms People Clan.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Larry Wilkinson
RIO RANCHO Memorial services for
Larry W. Wilkinson, 67, were 2:30 p.m., today, Dec. 5, at Daniels
Family Funeral Services-Sara Chapel, 413 Sara Rd. Interment will
be in Vista Verde Memorial Park.
Wilkinson died Nov. 29, 2008. He was born
May 16, 1944, in Hagerman, N.M. Wilkinson focused his time and
energy on his family, being outdoors and he was an avid gardener.
He was devoted to his students., being an educator and school
principal. Wilkinsons years in education were in schools
throughout New Mexico. He was always providing creative opportunities
for his students in order to expose them to new things that helped
better prepare them for their own careers. He often took the role
as a guidance counselor as well.
Survivors include his wife, Gayle Annie
Wilkinson; son, Joshua Wilkinson of Austin, Texas; daughters,
Seretha Crider of Rio Rancho, Jennifer Wellington of Jacksonvillie,
Fla.; sisters, Charlotte Shire, Dorothy Wilkinson, Mary Olsen;
brother, Roy Wilkinson; three grandchildren.
