Michael Begay

LOWER GREASEWOOD, Ariz. — Funeral services for Michael Lee Begay, 39, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, at the Our Lady of Rosary Church in Lower Greasewood. Visitation will be at 9 a.m. Burial will be at the Lower Greasewood Community Cemetery.

Begay died November 23 in Pinon, Ariz. He was born June 19, 1967 in Ganado, Ariz. into the Red House People Clan and for the Apache people.

Begay attended Holbrook High School and ITT in Phoenix. He was a member of the NAC and he enjoyed fishing and horses. He loved to joke with family members.

Begay is survived by his parent, Raymond Begay of Lower Greasewood; sons, Hosteen Blackrock Begay of Albuquerque and Kevin Smith of Klagetoh, Ariz.; daughters, Ariel Begay of Albuquerque and Dawnee Begay of Phoenix; brothers, Harrison Begay of Phoenix; Herman Tishie, Manuel Tishie and Albert Tishie, all of Wide Ruins, Ariz., Ray Tishie of Klagetoh, Guy K. Tishie of Nazlini, Ariz., Samanuel Tishie of Phoenix; sisters, Rita Joe and Bertha Smith of Wide Ruins, Verna Thomas of Nazlini, and Belena Six of Sanders, Ariz.

Begay was preceded in death by his mother, Helen J. Tishie; father, Kee Tishie and adopted mother Jennie M. Begay.

Pallbearers will be family members.

Juanita Begay

BESHBITO, Ariz. — Funeral services for Juanita W. Begay, 90, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29 at the Church of Latter Day Saints in Steamboat, Ariz. Pastor Pete Yazzie will officiate. Burial will be on family land 5 miles west of Steamboat.

Begay died Nov. 23 in Payson, Ariz. She was born on March 10, 1917 in Beshbito into the Red Running into Water People Clan and for the Honey Comb Rock People Clan.

Begay is survived by sons, Herman Begay and Phillip Begay; daughters, Rita B. Benally, Loretta B. McNamee, Jeanette Manuelito and Laverna Wilson; sister, Irene Archie; 25 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Begay was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Beginnie Begay.

Pallbearers will be Leroy Benally Jr., Daniel Benally, Leonard Benally, Randall Leo Wilson, Jeremy McNamee and Bahazhunii Wilson.

FARMINGTON — Funeral services for Martin Etcitty, 52, are pending.

Etcitty died Nov. 23, in Farmington. He was born Jan. 3, 1954 in Standing Rock, N.M.

Lindreth Chee

LUPTON, Ariz. — Funeral services for Lindreth "Herc" Chee, 21, are pending.

Chee died on Nov. 25, in Gallup. He was born on April 27, 1985 in Gallup. He was a lifetime resident of Lupton.
