Norton Roy Ritter

GRANTS — Graveside services for Norton Roy Ritter, 87 will be on March 16 at 2 p.m. at the Sunset Cemetery in Gallup.

Rittter died on March 4 in Loma Linda, Calif. He was born on May 18, 1918 in Baxter Springs, Kansas. After graduating from the Kansas University School of Medicine in 1942, he went into the U.S. Army and served as a physician with the 45th Infantry Division during World War II. He was physician in Gallup and Grants, and a founder of the original Grants Clinic and of Cibola General Hospital in Grants.

Survivors include his wife Lois Ritchie of Loma Linda, Calif.; three children, Norton "Butch" Ritter of Kansas City, Jennifer Cantrell of Los Lunas and Mike Ritter of Littleton, Colo.; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren.


Myron J. Kennedy

GALLUP — Funeral services are pending for Myron J. Kennedy, 72.

Kennedy died on March 9 in Gallup. He was born on March 13, 1933 in Lincoln, Neb.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.


Charles Genera Marquez

GALLUP — Funeral services are pending for Charles Genera Marquez, 68.

Marquez died on March 8 in Gallup. He was born on September 27, 1937 in Silver City, NM.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
