Anthony Krutcik
GALLUP Memorial Mass for Anthony F. Krutcik, 88 will be at 10
a.m., Friday, March 3, at Sacred Heart Cathedral. Very Rev. Lawrence
J O'Keefe will officiate. Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery in Gallup.
Krutcik died on Feb. 26 in Gallup. He was born on Dec. 11, 1917 in Deerfield,
Mass. Anthony moved to Westfield, Mass., in 1925. He graduated from
Westfield High School in 1936. He moved to Detroit, Mich., to work in
the auto industry and served with the US Army during WWII in the Pacific
Theater. He moved to Gallup in 1947. He was a member of the Lebanon
Lodge #22, Santa Fe Lodge of Perfection, Gallup Shrine Club, Royal Order
of Jesters, BPO Elks Lodge 1440, VFW and Ballut Abyad Temple.
Survivors include his sisters, Frances M. Healey of Arlington, Va.,
and Alice S. Pelton of Westfield, Mass.
Krutcik was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Krutcik; parents, Antoni
and Blanche Kruczyk; sisters, Harriet Easton and Jeanne P. Lloveras;
brothers, Chester F. Krutcik and Stanley F. Krutcik.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Ballut Abyad Shrine,
Atten: Children's Hospital 6600 Zuni SE, Albuquerque, NM., 87108.

Joe Moreno
GALLUP Graveside services for Joe A. Moreno, 86 will be at 2
p.m., March 2 at Sunset Memorial Park.
Moreno died on Feb. 17 in Albuquerque. He had served his country during
WWII, in Africa and Italy. He received a head injury due to shrapnel
and received a purple heart. He worked at Fort Wingate as an ammunitions
inspector and retired after 24 years of service. He was very active
in the Senior Center and enjoyed many different types of arts and crafts.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be

Edmund S. Roanhorse
HOUCK Funeral services for Edmund S. Roanhorse, 82 will be at
10 a.m., Thursday, March 2, at the Bethel Assembly of God. Pastor Kathryn
Pierce will officiate. Burial will be at the Houck Community Cemetery.
Roanhorse was born on July 5, 1923 in Houck, Ariz into the Blacksheep
People Clan for the Towering House Clan. He attended school at Fort
Wingate School and Chilocco, Okla. He worked in Utah for the BIA in
Toyei, Ariz. He was an active church member.
Survivors include his sister, Marie Roanhorse of Houck.
Roanhorse was preceded in death by his wife, Alberta Roanhorse; parents,
Hosteen and Yebah Roanhorse; brother, Kenneth Murille; sisters, Marjorie
Ashley, Lucy Roanhorse, and Mary Manning.
Pallbearers will be Johnny B. Brown, Chester Brown, Ben Baloo, James
Pierce and Ken Pierce.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Bethel Assembly
of God in Houck.

Dell Art Kayonnie
PHOENIX Funeral services for Dell Art Kayonnie, infan, will
be at 10 a.m., Thursday, March 2, at the Our Lady of Fatima Church in
Chinle. Father Blain Grien will officiate. Burial will be at the Chinle
Community Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9 - 10 a.m., before
services on March 2, at the Chinle Catholic Church.
Kayonnie died on Feb. 24 at the Banner Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix.
He was born on February 24 in Phoenix into The Towering House Clan for
the Start of the Red Streak People Clan.
Survivors include his brother, Gregory Lane Kayonnie; sisters, Justice
Ruth Kayonnie, Kelly Hope Kayonnie and Crystal Lynn Kayonnie; grandparents,
Evonne Shirley of Chinle and Mary Kayonnie of Many Farms, Ariz.
Pallbearers will be Gregory Kayonnie, Kevin Kayonnie, Leonard Kayonnie
and Lawrence Kayonnie.
The family will receive relative and friends at the Chinle Catholic
Hall.

Cecilio Monico Mirabal
GRANTS Funeral Mass for Cecilio Monico Mirabal, 77 will be at
11 a.m., Friday, March 3 at the Mission San Rafael Catholic Church.
Father Alberto Avella will officiate. Burial will be at the Mirabal
Family Cemetery, south of San Rafael. Visitation will be from 4 - 7
p.m., the Holy Rosary Meditation at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 2 at Grants
Mortuary and Friday, March 3 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Grants Mortuary.
Mirabal died on Feb. 25 in Albuquerque following a brief illness. He
was born on April 14, 1928 in San Rafael. Cecilio was a longtime resident
of the area and a member of the San Rafael Catholic Mission. He was
a well-known rancher, horseman, and he served with the US Army.
Survivors include his wife, Ella Mirabal; son, Danny Mirabal of San
Rafael; daughters, Bernadette Hiles, Jeanne Narramore and Veronica Scarbro,
all of San Rafael; brother, Miguel Mirabal; sisters, Christina Wieland,
Rose Silva and Reymunda Mirabal, all of Albuquerque, Ruth Farallo of
San Diego, Calif., Lori Mirabal of Calif.,; nine grandchildren; three
great grandchildren.
Mirabal was preceded in death by his parents, Monico and Belinda Sanchez
Mirabal; sister, Patricia Mirabal Harris; brother, Sylvestre Mirabal.
Pallbearers will be Juan Mirabal, David Halper, Johnny Halper, Matthew
Silva, Keith Gottlieb, Peter Gonzales, Steven Gonzales and Carl Manning.

GALLUP Funeral services are pending for Lawrence Marquez, Sr.,
83.
Marquez died on Feb. 28 in Gallup. He was born on Aug. 10, 1922 in Weaver,
NM.

Malone died on Feb. 28 in Thoreau. He was born on December 25, 1924
