Wilbert Anderson
MANUELITO Services for Wilbert Bryan Anderson, 62, will be at
10 a.m., today, Jan. 30 at Rollie Mortuary Palm Chapel. Pastor Arthur
Williams will officiate. Burial will follow in the Gallup City Cemetery.
Anderson died Jan 28 in Bloomfield, N.M. He was born June 10, 1943 in
Fort Defiance into the Bitter Water People Clan for the Black Streak
of the Forest People Clan.
Survivors include sons, Aaron Anderson of Gallup, Hank Anderson of Albuquerque
and Percy Anderson of Washington D.C.; daughters, Pamela Encinas of
Albuquerque, Hannah Morgan of Gallup, Radine Taylor of Albuquerque;
brothers Earl Anderson of Phoenix, Davis Myers of Burley, Idaho; sisters,
Elizabeth Anderson, Emily Custer, Beatrice Myers, all of Manuelito,
Ella Mae Anderson, Matilda Lee and Florence Wagoner, all of Phoenix,
and six grandchildren.
Anderson was preceded in death by his parents, Bryant Anderson and Grace
Keyonnie-Myers.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Anderson, Hank Anderson, Percy Anderson, Davis
Myers, Jimmy Taylor and Michael Young.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Benjamin Tom
TO'HAJIILEE Funeral services for Benjamin Tom will be announced
at a later date. Tom died Jan. 26 in To'hajiilee. He was born Jan. 10,
1957 in Rehoboth, NM.Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Thomas John Noonen
GALLUP Funeral services for Thomas John Noonen, 87, will be
on Tuesday, Jan. 31 at 10 a.m. Rev. Lawrence J. O'Keefe will officiate.
Burial will follow at the Hillcrest Cemetary.
Noonen died on Thursday, Jan. 26 in Albuquerque. He was born on May
26, 1918 in Las Vegas, NM. Noonen attended Regis High School in Denver.
He moved to Gallup in the early 1930's. Noonen was employed with the
Sante Fe Railroad for over 40 years and was a member of the United Transportation
Union for 50 years.
Survivors include his sons, Joe Noonen, John R. Noonen, and Tim Noonen
all of Gallup; daughters, Theo Judith Sanchez and Joyce Simmons both
of Albuquerque; 11 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Noonen was preceded in death by his wife, Theo Noonen; parents, Mike
and Dora Noonen; son, Mike Earl Noonen; and sister, Mary Burke.
Pallbearers will be Dick Farrow; Bryan Noonen; Jason Noonen; Sean Noonen;
Ted Sanchez; Sid Simmons; and Robert Thomas. A reception will be at
the Sacred Heart Cathefral Family Center following the burial services.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Louise Ann Woody
CHINLE Funeral Services for Louise Ann Woody, 53, will be at
10 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 31 at the Presbyterian our Lady of Fatima Church
in Chinle. Father Blaine Grein, OFM will officiate.
Woody died on Jan. 26 in Chinle. She was born on June 11, 1952 in Ganado,
Arizona for the Tobacco People Div. of Red Running into the Water for
the Edge Water People Clan. She was a lifetime resident of Chinle. She
enjoyed crossword puzzles and loved to take care of her grandkids.
Survivors include her husband, Guy Woody of Chinle; sons, Roland, Tyron
and Roy Woody all of Chinle; daughers, Jeanette Teller, Josephine, Gloria,
Jennifer, and Cassandra Woody all of Chinle; brothers, Tulley Watchman,
Joe Watchman, Sr. both of Sawmill, Denny Watchman, Sr. and Kenneth Watchman,
Sr. both of Chinle, Yazzie Lewis of Salina, Okla., and John Watchman
of Chinle; sister, June Ann Totsoni of Chinle; eight grandchildren.
Woody was preceded in death by her parents Charlie Watchman Sr. and
Dorothy Watchman; brother, Charlie Watchman Jr.
Pallbearers will be family members.
Gary Lee Billie
PINEDALE Funeral services for Gary Lee Billie, 43, will be at
10 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 31 at the Cope Memorial Chapel. Burial will
be on private land.
Billie died on Jan. 26 in Gallup. He was born in Pinedale into the Mountain
Cove People Clan for the Water Flows Together Clan.
Survivors include brothers, Ned Brody, Herbert Billie, Sr., Larry Billy,
Sr., Jerry Billie and Harrison Billie; sisters Sarah Billie and Maggie
Kaye.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Bertha Lewis's residence.
Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Louise Mae Billie
PINEDALE Funeral services for Louise Mae Billie, 48, will be
at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 31 at the Cope Memorial Chapel. Burial will
be on private land.
Billie died on Jan. 25 in Pinedale. She was born on September 30, 1957
in Pinedale into the Mountain Cove People Clan. She was a rug weaver,
beadworker, and silversmith.
Survivors include her husband Charley Billie; sons, Sanderson Billie,
Charleston Billie, Joseph Kee, Avery Norton, and Averil Norton; daughers,
Belinda Homer, Brenda Billie, and Evangelina Norton; brothers, Ned Brody,
Herbert Billie, Sr., Larry Billie, Sr., Jerry Billie, and Harrison Billie;
sisters Sarah and Maggie Billie; ten grandchildren.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Bertha Lewis's residence.
Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
