Magic show to benefit Relay

GALLUP Parents can spend an entertaining afternoon
with their children this Saturday while helping to support a good cause.
Magician Robert Long's "Show of Wonders with Chainsaws and Ragdolls
and Tricks, Oh My!"is a family-friendly show featuring magic, illusions,
escapes, and comedy. The event is being sponsored by Gallup's Ups and
Downs Relay For Life Team and is a fund-raiser for the American Cancer
Society.
Long's "Show of Wonders" will begin at 3 p.m. on Saturday at
the First United Methodist Church, 1800 Red Rock Dr. The 90 minute show
includes Long's "Box-O-Death," the "Traveling Die,"
and his "Ragdoll Levitation."
Long brings unique and original magic tricks and illusions that audiences
won't see in other shows. In a 2001 competition sponsored by the Brotherhood
of Magicians in 2001, Long's show was ranked in the top ten for unique
and wacky magic acts.
Advance tickets for Long's "Show of Wonders" are $5 per person
and can be purchased at Gallup Limb and Brace at 927 W. Aztec or First
American Traders at 198 E. Historic Route 66. Tickets at the door will
be $7 for children 12 and under and $10 for adults and teens. For further
