Michiko Rush
GALLUP Services for Michiko I. Rush, 72, will be at 10 a.m.,
Monday, Feb. 27 at Rollie Mortuary Palm Chapel. Rev. Gary Bickner will
officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
Rush died on Feb. 23 in Gallup. She was born Nov. 1, 1933 in Shimane-ken,
Japan.
Rush was the co-owner of the Hogan Store in Gallup. Her hobbies included
cooking and knitting.
Survivors include her son, J.L. Rush of Phoenix; daughter, Akemi Rush
of Gallup; sister, Toyoko Mizuma of Osaka, Japan and three granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Rush and her parents.
Pallbearers will be Richard Gatewood, Brian Gillogly, Jeff Jameson,
Dustin Petzoldt, Lyle Petzoldt and Quint Steinbeck.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Fannie B. Felson
PINEDALE Funeral services for Fannie B. Felson, 81 will be at
11 a.m. today, Feb. 25 at First United Methodist Church in Gallup. Pastor
David Lee will officate. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in Gallup.
Felson died on February 21 in Albuquerque. She was born on March 12,
1924 in Pinedale for the Bitter Water People Clan into the Mountain
Recess People Clan. She was a homemaker, mother and grandmother who
enjoyed traveling, listening to the radio and helping others.
Survivors include her sons, James W. Felson Sr., Robert Felson Sr.,
John Felson Jr. and Ray Trephibio; daughters, Laura M. Felson, Laurel
J. Felson and Pearlene A. Felson; sister, Lucille Brown; 13 grandchildren;
11 great grandchildren.
Felson was preceded in death by her parents, Charley and Minnie Brown;
husband, John Felson Sr., two sons, two daughters and grandfather, Jeff
King.
Pallbearers will be Ray Trephibio, Leighton Felson, Donovon Felson,
James Felson Jr.. Byron J. Felson and Robert Felson Jr.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Pinedale Chapter
House.
Walter Rodgers, Jr.
CONTINENTAL DIVIDE Services for Walter Buddy Scott Rodgers,
Jr., 74, are pending and will be announced at a later date.
Rodgers died on Feb. 23 in Continental Divide, N.M. He was born July
11 in Mansfield, Ark.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
