Elizabeth Triana
GRANTS Funeral services for Elizabeth Jean Triana, 47 will be
on Saturday, Feb. 25, at 2 p.m. at the Zion Ministry in Milan. Pastor
Connie Archuleta will be the celebrant.
Triana died on Feb. 20 in Grants. She was born on Nov. 18, 1958 in Los
Angeles, Calif.
Survivors include her mother, Beatrice Rivas of San Antonio, Texas;
sister, Mary Alice DeArmond of Grants; brothers, Augustine DeArmond
Jr. of Los Angeles, Calif. and Arthur DeArmond of San Diego, Calif.;
children: Michael Smart of Santa Fe, Joseph Smart of Las Cruces and
Angela McKeown of Grants; and Rudy Gonzales of San Rafael.
Triana was preceded in death by her father, Augustine DeArmond Sr.
Compassion Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Charles Wesley Grider
GRANTS Funeral mass for Charles Wesley Grider, 79 will be on
Saturday, Feb. 25, 10 a.m. at the St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.
Burial will follow at Grants Memorial Park. Visitation will be today,
Feb. 24, noon to 6 p.m. at Compassion Mortuary with a Divine Mercy Service
to follow at 7 p.m.
Grider died on February 20 in Grants. He was born on December 10, 1926
in Melrose, N.M. He was a graduate of Floyd High School in Floyd, N.M.
Grider retired from the United Nuclear-Homestake Mines.
Survivors include his wife, Anna Margaret Grider of Grants; daughters,
Pamela Rivera of Memphis, Texas, Laura Pouges of Albuquerque; stepchildren,
Lowell Graves of West Ville, Florida, Ralph Siebert of Colorado Springs,
Constance Marie Siebert of Milan, Cecelia Wheeler of Grants, Blue Siebert
of Grants, and Terri Lynn Siebert of Colorado Springs; sister, Claudine
Davis of T or C, N.M.; brother, Billy Joe Grider of Melrose, N.M.; two
grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren; nine stepgreat-grandchildren.
Grider was preceded in death by his parents, Vada Cambell Grider and
Ernest James Grider; brothers, Wilfred James Grider, Glen Grider and
Robert Grider.
Pallbearers will be Billy Joe Grider, Paul Grider, Larry Grider, Blue
Siebert, James Pouges, and Khristopher Middleton.
Compassion Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Charlotte Ann Dysart Angstadt
LAS VEGAS, NV Memorial service for Charlotte Ann Dysart Angstadt,
69 will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25, at the First Baptist
Church in Gallup. Pastor Jay McCollum will officiate. Burial will be
at Sunset Memorial Park in Gallup.
Angstadt died on February 12 in Las Vegas, Nev. She was born on February
29, 1936 in Clark, Mo. Charlotte graduated from Gallup High School in
1954. She worked for and retired from the Federal Government. Her hobbies
included sewing, crocheting and knitting.
Survivors include her mother, Velva Oellerich of Gallup; stepson, Keith
Angstadt of Albuquerque; sister, Shirley Wilson of Gallup; niece, Valerie
Worthern of Gallup.
Angstadt was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Angstadt; father,
William E. Dysart.
Pallbearers will be Heath Wilhelm and Derek Wilhelm.

Marie Matajcich
GALLUP Funeral Mass for Marie Eva Matajcich, 76 will beat 10
a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25 at Sacred Heart Cathedral. Father Mike Vigil
will officiate. Burial will be at the Sunset Memorial Park in Gallup.
Rosary will be tonight, Friday, Feb. 24, at 7 p.m. atRollie Mortuary
Palm Chapel.
Matajcich died on Feb. 21 in Gallup. She was born on Jan. 6, 1930 in
Chicago, IL. Marie came to Gallup from Chicago in 1943 and she and her
parents opened Kitchens Opera House. She graduated from Gallup High
School. Her first secretarial position was with Gallup Brick Company.
She also worked for Fort Wingate Army Depot. Matajcich was also a co-owner
of M & S Paint Company and M & M Cafe. Her hobbies included
scrapbooking and spending time with her family. She was a member of
the Croatian Catholic Union Lodge #59.
Survivors include her daughters, Jovanna Kennedy, Franchesca "Franki"
Spolar, Darlene Yocham all of Gallup; son, John Matajcich of Gallup;
11 grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
Matajcich was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Matajcich; parents,
George and Ella Bedalow; sister, Georgene Fulton.
Pallbearers will be Jason Campos, Jonathan Matajcich, Chad Merril, Keith
Spolar, Kurt Spolar, and Kyle Spolar.

Jonathan Tabaha
FORT DEFIANCE Funeral services for Jonathan Tabaha, 39 will
be on Saturday, Feb. 25 at 10 a.m. at St. Michaels Catholic Church.
Father Gilbert Schneider, O.F.M. will officiate. Burial will be at the
St. Michaels Community Cemetery in St. Michaels. Visitation will be
held at St. Michaels Catholic Church on Saturday, Feb. 25, between 9
a.m. and 9:45 a.m.
Tabaha died on February 21 in Florence, Arizona. He was born on April
1, 1966 in Fort Defiance for the Big Water Clan into the Waters Edge
People Clan.
Survivors include his wife, Marylou Tiznado of Florence, Ariz.; father,
Johnnie Tabaha Jr., of Fort Defiance; daughter, Serena Steiner of Tempe,
Ariz.; son, Michael Tabaha of Window Rock; sisters, Jennifer Craig of
Oracle, Ariz., Geraldine Fisher of Tucson, Ariz., nad Beverly Wauneka
of Window Rock.
Tabaha was preceded in death by her mother, Betty J. Tabaha; grandmother,
Dolly Tabaha; grandfather, Johnnie Tabaha Sr.; grandmother, Frances
B. Yazhe; grandfather, Frank E. Yazhe.
Pallbearers will be Henry Boyd Jr., Carl Craig, Matthew Craig, Galen
Pete, Patrick Rubio, and Michael Tabaha.

Fannie B. Felson
PINEDALE Funeral services for Fannie B. Felson, 81 will be at
11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25 atFirst United Methodist Church in Gallup.
Pastor David Lee will officate. Burial will be at the Sunset Memorial
Park in Gallup.
Felson died on February 21 in Albuquerque. She was born on March 12,
1924 in Pinedale for the Bitter Water People Clan into the Mountain
Recess People Clan. She was a homemaker, mother and grandmother who
enjoyed traveling, listening to the radio and helping others.
Survivors include her sons, James W. Felson Sr., Robert Felson Sr.,
John Felson Jr. and Ray Trepibio; daughters, Laura M. Felson, Laurel
J. Felson and Pearlene A. Felson; sister, Lucille Brown; 13 grandchildren;
11 great grandchildren.
Felson was preceded in death by her parents, Charley and Minnie Felson;
husband, John Felson, two sons, two daughters and grandfather, Jeff
King.
Pallbearers will be Ray Trephibio, Leighton Felson Jr., Donavon Felson
Jr., James Felson Jr.. Byron J. Felson and Robert Felson Jr.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Pinedale Chapter
House.
Frieda Clay
JEDDITO Funeral services for Frieda Mae Clay, 64 will be held
at 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 25 at the Baptist Church in Keams Canyon,
Ariz. Burial will be at the Community Cemetery in Jeddito.
Clay died on February 19 in Phoenix, Arizona. She was born on December
23, 1941 in Low Mountain, Arizona into the Towering House Clan and for
the Mexican People Clan.
Survivors include her sons, Wilson and William Clay; daughter, Meryle
Lynn, Jennifer Clay, Priscilla Begay, Rhonda Clay, Frienda Clay; brothers,
Paul Duffy and Mike Duffy Jr.; sisters, Clara Yazzie, Lula Ahkee, Esther
Smith, Pauline Yazzie, Lena Yazzie and Isabel Belin; 15 grandchildren.
Clay was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Clay; parents Mike
Duffy Sr. and Francis Ben.
The family will receive relative and friends at the Jeddito Chapter
House, four miles southwest of the family residence.

Alice Cresto
MONTROSE, Colo. Alice L. Cresto, 85, died Wednesday, Feb. 22
at the Valley Manor Care Center in Montrose. At her request, cremation
has taken place and no services are planned.
She was born March 29, 1920 in Gallup and spent her childhood here and
graduated from high school here. She enjoyed crocheting and gardening.
Survivors include her three children, Howard Miller of Ellensburg, Wash.,
Linda Lewis of Montrose, Colo., Darlene Ford of Williamsburg, N.M.;
a sister, Irene Gerard of Gallup; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Cresto was preceded in death by her husband, Angelo Cresto and parents
John and Bertha Gregory.
Marvin Henry HankeGALLUP Funeral services are pending for Marvin Henry
Hanke, 87 of Gallup.
Hanke died on February 23 in Gallup. He was born on May 9, 1918 in Warrens,
Wis.

GALLUP Funeral services are pending for Michiko I. Rush, 72
of Gallup.
Rush died on February 23 in Gallup. He was born on November 1, 1933
in Japan. Michiko was a co-owner of the Hogan Store in Gallup.
