Gallery Showing: Peggy Lewis, owner of the Mission Gallery and
Coffee Shop in Grants, measures the size of "Ressurection" an acrylic
painting by Kabu. The opening reception for Kabu's first show in Grants
displaying 19 of his works is scheduled for Feb. 14. Doors open at 5 pm
and the artist will be present to talk to the public about his works.

Minor: Violinist Anthony Garino, 12, performs a solo while guest
conductor Byron Herrington leads the New Mexico Symphony Orchestra
Wednesday morning at the Rehoboth High School gymnasium. Garino's
mother plays violin for the orchestra, and he has been playing since
