Mary Rose Clark
GALLUP Funeral services for Mary Rose Clark, 74 will be held
at 10 a.m., Friday, February 3, at the First Assembly Church in Gallup.
Pastor David Toppen will officiate. Private disposition will be in Twin
Lakes.
Clark died Jan 29 in Gallup. She was born August 08, 1921 in Wildcat,
New Mexico for the Towering House People Clan into the Bitterwater People
Clan. She attended Fort Wingate Elementary School. She worked as a Sunday
school teacher, dorm mother at the Twin Lakes Boarding School, head
cook at the Twin Lakes Recovery Center and held various restaurant jobs
in Gallup. Her talents included rugweaving, beading, and silversmithing.
Survivors include her sons Dennison Frank and Timothy L. Clark both
of Gallup, Henry Clark Jr. of Jamestown, NM, David L. Clark of Yahtahey
and Victor L. Clark of Navajo, NM; daughers, Patricia A. Pat and Christine
M. Clark both of Twin Lakes; sister Patsy Archie of Twin Lakes; 23 grandchildren;
34 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Clark was preceded in death by her husband Henry Clark Sr.; parents
Charlie and Martha Ross; brothers, Raymond J. Ross, Lee T. Ross, Edison
G. Ross, and Donald Frank; son Leonard Frank Sr.; one infant son and
daughter; and one granchild.
Pallbearers will be Jason M. Antone, Gilbert Dick Jr., Erwin Frank,
Sean Ricehill, Eric Dearwater, and Shawn R. Pat.
The family will receive relative and friends at the Twin Lakes Chapter
House, following the burial.
Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Priscilla B. Gutierrez
ESTANCIA Funeral services for Priscilla B. Gutierrez, 76 will
be held on Friday, Feb. 3 at 10 a.m. at the St. Teresa of Avila Catholic
Church in Grants. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park Cemetary.
Gutierrez died on Feb. 1. She was born on June 1, 1929 in Estancia.
Survivors include in her husband Juan Guitierrez; daughter, Mary Lou
Sanchez; son, Richard Lynn Gutierrez; daughter, Kathy Sarracino; nine
grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
Gutierrez was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Floripa of
Estancia; brother, Herman Brito.
