Charles Etcitty, Jr.
NAZLINI, Ariz. Services for Charles Etcitty,
Jr., 53, will be 10 a.m. Dec. 16 at All Saints Mission Chuch in
Ganado. Father Flann O'Neil, OFM, will officiate. Burial will
follow at Nazlini Community Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 a.m.,
one hour prior to services.
A rosary was recited 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 15 at Silver Creek
Mortuary.
Etcitty died Dec. 12 in Chinle. He was born May 8, 1953 in Albuquerque
into the Bitter Water People Clan for the Towering House People
Clan.
Etcitty was a 1972 Chinle High School graduate. He served in the
U.S. Army for 2 years. He was employed as a police officer, sawfiler,
cook, truck driver, maintenance man, labor and a rancher. He enjoyed
reading the newspaper, having farm animals, visiting with family
and friends.
Survivors include wife, Jennie M. Etcitty, sons, Cecil Etcitty
and Tony Etcitty; daughters, Toncinta M. Etcitty and Charo M.
Manson; brothers, Edison B. Etsitty, Marshall Etsitty and Benson
Etcitty; sisters, Mary Alyce Williams, Carmelita Etsitty, Beverly
Pahe and Patricia Pahe; 17 grandchildren.
Etcitty was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Etcitty,
Sr. and Rose Mary Williams; and one brother, Mike Etsitty.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Nazlini Chapter
House.
Orrin Plummer
COYOTE CANYON, N.M. Services for Orrin
Ned Plummer, 45, were 10 a.m. today, Dec. 15 at the Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Gallup. Bishop Lewis officiated.
Burial followed at Rehoboth Christian Cemetery.
Visitation was 9 a.m. Dec. 15 at the Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter Day Saints in Gallup.
Plummer was born March 13, 1961 in Las Vegas, N.M. into the Two
Who Came to the Water People Clan for the Bitter Water People
Clan.
Plummer graduated from Ganado High School in 1981. He served in
the U.S. Army and stationed in Ft. Leonardwood, Mo. for 2 years.
he was employed as a carpenter and a maintenance man. He was a
former Detention Officer with the Gallup Police Department. He
was alsoan artist, and die cartoon caricatures,scenic views, native
and natural arts.
Survivors include sons, Ivan Yazzie and Ryan Ned Plummer ; daughters,
Celia Rose Yazzie, Nicole Plummer, Tammy King and Mariah Plummer;
parents, Sandra Ann Plummer and Abraham Sr.; brother, Abe Plummer,
Jr.; sisters, Pamela Plummer, Monica Plummer-Joe, Abby Plummer
and Valeree Paddock-Plummer; grandparents, Juanita Weeker and
Dempsey Kanteena, Sr. and Bekisbah and Ned Plummer, Jr.
Plummer was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Paul Plummer.
Pallbearers were Mitchell Barber, Franklin Tso, Jr., Dwayne Plummer,
Herman Plummer Jr., Nate Plummer and Irvin Livingston.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the the Church
of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints following services.
