Eric Slim

YAH-TA-HEY — Services for Eric Daniel Slim, 21, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 2 at Established in the Word Ministry in Rock Springs. Pastor Eddie Rodriquez will officiate. Burial will be at the family graveside in Yahtahey.

Slim died Nov. 25 in Gallup. He was born April 29, 1985 in Gallup.

Slim is a 2003 Tohatchi High School graduate. Slim enjoyed being with his daughter. His hobbies included being on the computer, listening to music, drawing, playing basketball, traveling, hanging with family and friends.

Survivors include wife, Shana James; sons, Eric Daniel Slim, Jr.; daughter, Erieal Rose Slim; parents, Daniel and Roseann Slim; brothers, Derrick Slim, Darren Slim and Donovan James; sisters, Roxanne Slim and Erica Slim; grandparents, Geebah Slim.

Slim was preceded in death by his grandparents Tom and Alice Belone of Twin Lakes and John Slim.

Pallbearers will be Danny Belone, Derrick Slim, Chris Peters, Jon Francisco, Jr., Jerry Spencer, Sr. and Bobby Slim.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Rock Springs Chapter House following the burial.

Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.


Richard Zamora

GRANTS — Funeral Mass for Richard William Zamora, 74, will be 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 4 at Saint Teresa de Avila Catholic Church in Grants. Father Jeff King will officiate. Interment and graveside services will follow funeral services at Grants Memorial Park.

Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3 at Grants Mortuary. The Holy Rosary Meditation will be 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3 at Saint Teresa de Avila Catholic Church.

Zamora died Nov. 29 in Grants. He was born May 28, 1932 in Bernalillo.

Zamora has been a resident of Grants and member of Saint Teresa de Avila Catholic Church since 1968. He enjoyed football and his favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys.

Survivors include sisters, Rose Bauska of Grants and Dolores Delmoniego of Panama City, Fla.; many nieces and nephews.

Zamora was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio B. Zamora and Nellie B. Marquez.

Pallbearers will be Manuel Rodriquez, Matthew Bodley, Paul Baca, Rueben Sandoval, Manuel Sarracino and Pat Scott.


Paul James, Jr.

GANADO — Services for Paul James, Jr., 44, will be 10 a.m., Dec. 2 at the Ganado Presbyterian Church in Ganado. Custer Lowe, Jr. will officiate. Burial will follow at Ganado Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services.

James died Nov. 28 in Farmington. He was born March 13, 1962 in Gallup.

James was self-employed. His hobby included beadworking.

Survivors include son, Paulmer F. James; mother, Louise W. James of Cornfields; brothers, Perry James, Jr. of Gallup and Arthur Robert James of Ganado; sisters, Julia Wauneka and Gloria Shepherd, both of Ganado, Harriet J. Willie of Blackhat, Marita James and Trula Breiunger, both of Phoenix.

James was preceded in death by father, Paul James, Sr. and daughter, Paula James.

Pallbearers will be family members.

The family will receive relatives and friends at mother, Louise W. James residences in Cornfields after services.

Silver Creek Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.


Evelyn Livingston

BREAD SPRINGS — Services for Evelyn T. Livingston, 84, will be announced at a later date.

Livingston died Nov. 30 in Gallup. She was born May 22, 1922 in Iyanbito.

A family meeting will be 5 p.m. today, Dec. 1 at Bread Springs Chapter House.

Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
