Native American films
FARMINGTON The Native American Mini-Film Festival will be Saturday
at the San Juan College's Little Theater. A free 7 p.m. showing features
Chris Eyre's "A Thousand Roads" and the animated "How Raven
Stole the Sun." The 8:30 p.m. showing, which has a $5 admission fee,
will feature "A Loom with a View" and "Don't Call Me Tonto."

Clothing Exchange
GALLUP The Clothing Exchange will be 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday
at the West Mesa Assembly of God, at the corner of South Seventh Street
and Mesa Avenue. Community members are invited to "shop" for
free, used clothing. Volunteers are needed to help set up the clothing
exchange at 9 a.m. and take it down at 2 p.m. Information: Dee at (505)

Summer ball registration
GALLUP The Boys and Girls Club of Gallup registration for summer
baseball and softball will be 2-4 p.m. Saturday at Rocky View Elementary
School, 345 Basilio Dr.
Registration is for boys and girls Tee Ball teams (ages 5-6), girls' softball
(ages 13-16), and boys' baseball (ages 13-16). Registration for other
divisions is closed.
Registration is $65 for the first child, $50 for siblings,
and $40 for Tee ball players. Coaches are needed for baseball and softball.

Sobriety checkpoints
GALLUP The New Mexico State Police will be conducting sobriety
checkpoints, patrol saturation operations, and speed enforcement programs
during Super Blitz today through May 6.
St. Michael's hearing
ST. MICHAELS The St. Michaels Chapter will conduct a public hearing
on St. Michaels Chapter's Five Management System Policies and Procedures
Manual at 9 a.m. (MDST) on Sunday. The discussion will be in Navajo and

Cornfields Farm Board
CORNFIELDS A special farm board meeting for the Cornfields Chapter
will be 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the chapter house. Information
about farm plot ownership and land use permits will be discussed. All
