Fatherhood Initiative

The conference will feature presentations on the legal implications of the Fatherhood Initiative for the Navajo Nation, the role of a father in a child's life, and the Dine perspective on positive parenting for a father. Tuba City School Board
FLAGSTAFF — The Coconino County Superintendent of Schools has announced that there are two four-year terms open on the Tuba City Unified School Board for the Nov. 7, 2006 general election. Registered voters in Arizona who have been residents of the Tuba City District for one year, immediately preceding the day of election, are eligible for these positions.

The positions are currently held by Linda Honahni and Priscilla Kanaswood. Their terms expire on Dec. 31, 2006. Information about running for these positions can be obtained by calling the superintendent's office at (928) 779-6591.
