uses a remote to control the flow of concrete to pier cap number three
on the Munoz Overpass project Tuesday afternoon. Each pier cap takes about
35 yards of concrete. In about a month, crews will pour the road deck
onto these piers. That night operation will take 300 yards of concrete
and an interstate closure to complete. [Photo by John A. Bowersmith/Independent]
