Uranium workers meeting
SHIPROCK The public is invited to attend meetings in Shiprock and
Kayenta about Part "E" of the Dept. of Labor/Energy Employees
Occupational Illness Comp. Program Act. Representatives from U.S. Dept.
Labor, Dept. of Justice, EEOICPA Resource Center, and the Office of Navajo
Uranium Workers will attend.
The Shiprock meeting will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April
19 at the Shiprock Catholic Center, and the Kayenta meeting will be from
10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, April 20 at the Kayenta Chapter House.

Housing Association
CROWNPOINT There will be a Central Valley Housing Association Meeting
at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18 in the conference room of the Navajo Housing
Authority in Crownpoint. Important matters pertaining to the renovation
of homes will be discussed. The public is encouraged to attend. Information:

UNM-G Open House
GALLUP UNM-Gallup will host its Annual Open House and Music Contest
from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 20 in Gurley Hall. Events include
campus tours, summer registration, demonstrations, a music contest, information
booths, refreshments, and more.
Injury prevention
BLANDING, Utah The third open house, with the topic "Injury
Prevention," of the Native American Health series will be presented
from noon to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18 at the Blanding Library. The
event will include demonstrations and Internet scavenger hunts for learning
about the high-quality health resources available on the Web. At 6 p.m.
a presentation will be given on poison control, gun locks and bicycle

Medicare Part D meeting
GALLUP The Securities Division and AARP will discuss an overview
of Medicare Part D prescription drug program at 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
