Mary Moore
ROCKY POINT, N.M. Funeral services for Mary Moore, 94, will
be 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 13 at Church of God Indian Mission, Manuelito,
N.M. Burial will be family land in Rocky Point, N.M.
Moore died April 6 in Gallup. She was born Oct. 15, 1911 in Rocky Point.
into the Blackstreak Forest People Clan born for the Bitterwater People
Clan.
Moore enjoyed weaving, reading her bible, singing and being with her
grandchildren. She was a preacher, teacher and pastor.
Survivors include her sons Harry L. Begay, of Fort Wingate, A.J. Williams
of Canoncito, Pete Moore, Sr. "Navajo Pete" of Rocky Point,
Johnson Lee of Albuquerque; sisters, Marilyn Chischilly of Oak Springs,
Ariz., Irene P. Moore of Chambers, Ariz., Sarah Pino of Ramah, Clara
Woody of Twin Lakes; 22 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Moore was preceded in death by husband, Harrison P. Moore and mother
Bah H. Lee; brothers Harry Lee, George Lee, Jimmy Lee, John Platero;
daughters Grace Williams, Lois Williams and 2 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Andy Lee, Johnson Lee, Anderson Fredrick Lee, Jason
Lee and Reuben Pino.
The family receive relatives and friends at Church of God Southwest
Indian Ministries following services.

OJO ENCINO Funeral services for Rosita Woody, 93 will be 11
a.m. on Wednesday, April 12 at Ojo Encino Assembly of God Church, Ojo
Encino. Pastor David Leoffler will officiate. Burial will follow in
Ojo Encino Assembly of God Cemetery.
Woody died April 8 in Crownpoint, N.M. She was born Dec. 17, 1912 in
Ojo Encino, N.M. into the Tangle People Clan for the Red Running into
the Water People Clan.
Woody attended Crownpoint Boarding School and Rehoboth Mission. She
was a housewife, midwife and taught Adult Education, CAC member, nursing
assistant and a sheepherder. She enjoyed volunteer work and her hobbies
were sewing, making quilts, traditional outfits, weaving, cooking, singing
traditional and English songs.
Survivors include her daughters, Dorothy Talk, Emma Sandoval, Joan R.
Woody, Caroline J. Wagner; sister Glady C. Toledo; eight grandchildren
and seven great-grandchildren.
Woody was preceded in death by Lucy Toledo, Lucita Toledo; mother Ecuzbah
Herrera; father Maquel Castillo.
Pallbearers will be Oscar Sandoval, Otis Sandoval, Nathan Wagner, Sr.,
Ted Toledo, Ernest Yazzie and Edison Platero.
There will be a family meeting at Ojo Encino Chapter House today, April
11 at 6 p.m.

Betty Singer
SALINA SPRINGS Funeral services for Betty Singer, 58 will
be 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 12 at Our Lady of Fatima, Chinle. Father
Blane Grein will officiate. Interment will be seven and one-half miles
east of Cottonwood Day School.
Singer died April 8 in Chinle. She was born in Ganado into the Manygoats
People Clan for the Tangle People Clan.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Armboy; sons Rodney Singer, Charleston
Beard, Kevin Jones; daughter Charlene Walker; mother Bah Singer; brother
David Singer; sisters Ella Singer, Rose Nez, Sadina Singer, Fern Harvey,
Helen Eriacho; five grandchildren.
Singer was preceded in death by father, Ned Singer; son Woodrow Singer.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Ella Singer, seven
and one-half miles east of Cottonwood Day School.

ROCK SPRINGS Funeral services for Jack C. Mike, 47, are
pending.Mike died April 10 in Gallup. He was born Feb. 10, 1959 in Gallup
into the Mountain Recess People Clan for the Red Running Into The Water
People Clan.

Michael Leo Kee, Sr.
THOREAU Funeral services for Michael Leo Kee, Sr., 28 will
be announced at a later date.
Kee died April 9 in Thoreau. He was born June 24, 1977 in Gallup into
the Two Came To The Water People Clan for the Mexican People Clan.
A family meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 11 at 6 p.m. at the
Thoreau Chapter House.
