TEST, TEST: Louie Martinez, left, and Olin Charleston test the
new three-phase 208Volt 1200Amp power box that will channel electricity
into El Morro Theater. The city turned on the power to the box Wednesday
after installing a new transformer to supply large amounts of power to
the building. Martinez said that Clifton Electric is rewiring the entire
building and installing a new fire alarm system and should be finished
around mid-June. [Photo by John A. Bowersmith/Independent]
