Louis H. Diaz
GALLUP Memorial services for Louis H. Diaz, 54, will be 10 a.m.
on Wednesday, Nov. 30 at Sacred Heart Cathedral. The Very Rev. Lawrence
J. O'Keefe will officiate. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial
Park.
A rosary will be recited Tuesday, Nov. 29 at Sacred Heart Cathedral
at 7 p.m.
Diaz died Nov. 24 in Gallup. He was born Feb. 28, 1951 in Gallup.
Diaz graduated from Gallup High School in 1969. He worked at El Sabino's
for over 24 years. He also was employed with United Nuclear, Kerr McGee
and the railroad. He enjoyed playing the guitar, music, dancing and
being with family.
Survivors include his daughters, Theresa Diaz, Angela Williams both
of Gallup, Shannon Diaz of Zuni; sons, Julian Williams, Marques Williams,
Martin Williams all of Gallup; brothers, Arthur Diaz, Martin Diaz, Jr.
both of Gallup; sisters, Christine Diaz-Galaviz of Farmington, Susie
Murphy of Simi Valley, Calif.; and five grandchildren.
Diaz was preceded in death by his father, Martin Diaz; mother, Dolores
"Lola" Diaz; sisters, Maria Adeliva, Linda Madrid; brothers,
Fred "Mino" Diaz, Joe Diaz and Tommy Diaz.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Sacred Heart Family
Center following services.

William Fisher
GRANTS Funeral services for William T. "Billy" Fisher,
57, will be 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 29 at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic
Church. Interment will follow in the Santa Fe National Cemetery on Wednesday,
Nov. 30 at 1 p.m.
A rosary will be recited this evening, Nov. 28 at 7 p.m. at St. Teresa
of Avila Catholic Church.
Fisher died Nov. 24 in Grants. He was born Nov. 20, 1948 in Santa Rosa.
Fisher graduated from Grants High School and was a driller. He was a
Vietnam Veteran serving with the US Army.
Survivors include his son, Troy Harris; brother, Jackie Fisher; sisters,
June L. Herrera, Eloisa Gauna all of Grants; and two grandchildren.
Fisher was preceded in death by his parents, Buddy Thomas Fisher and
Bertha Fisher.

Fritz Francisco
WINDOW ROCK Funeral services for Fritz Francisco, 30, will be
9 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 29 at Our Lady of Blessed Sacrament. Interment
will follow in the Fort Defiance community cemetery.
Francisco died Nov. 24 in Phoenix, Ariz. He was born Aug. 20, 1975 in
Fort Defiance into the Salt People Clan for the Near to Water People
Clan.
Survivors include his father, Henry T. Francisco of Window Rock; mother,
Alice Francisco of Fort Defiance; son, Brandon Tyler Francisco of Phoenix;
and brother, Henry Francisco, Jr. of Window Rock.
Francisco was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Alice Francisco,
Nonabah Plummer; grandfathers, Chester Francisco and Alford Plummer.
Pallbearers will be Oscar Destea, Ricky Destea, Henry Francisco, Jr.,
Brian Nez, Melton Plummer, and Myron Plummer.

Gracie Parker
SAGEBRUSH Funeral services for Gracie Sampson Parker, 59, will
be 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 29 at Cope Memorial Chapel. Interment will
follow inthe Gallup City Cemetery.
Parker died Nov. 23 in Gallup. She was born May 8, 1945 in Gallup into
the Red Running into the Water People Clan for the Black Streak Wood
People Clan.
Parker was a teachers aid in Portales and a nurses aid in Melrose, N.M.
in the 1970s. She was a homemaker and enjoyed silversmithing.
Survivors include her sons, Richard Parker, Norman Parker, Leroy Parker,
Patrick Parker; daughters, Sandra Parker, Cynthia Parker, Angie Parker,
Gaynell Parker; father, Curley Sampson; brothers, Danny Sampson, Kenneth
Sampson; sisters, Lena Notah, Grace Sampson, Mary Spencer, Betty Harvy;
and 13 grandchildren.
Parker was preceded in death by her mother, Marie Cadman Sampson; brothers,
Joe Sampson, Leo Sampson, Robert Sampson, Wayne Sampson.
Pallbearers will be Patrick Parker, Dana Notah, Norman Parker and Robert
James.
Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Melvin Wolfe
ALBUQUERQUE Funeral services for Melvin Fae Wolfe, 59, were
11 a.m. this morning, Nov. 28 at Grants Mortuary Chapel. Father Matthew
Keller officiated. Interment will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 29 in the
Magdalena Cemetery, Magdalena.
Wolfe died Nov. 25 in Albuquerque. She was born March 18, 1946 in Deming.
Wolfe moved to Grants in 1968. She was a Catholic and a member of the
BPOE Does Drove and VFW Ladies Auxillary. She enjoyed hunting, fishing,
hiking, four wheeling, traveling, cooking and enjoyed family trips.
Survivors include her husband, David L. Wolfe of Grants; daughters,
Jorene Wolfe of Belen, Jeanette Lee Wolfe of Los Lunas; sisters, Jessie
Gene Miller of Byers, Okla., Jorene Baker of Justin, Texas; and two
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin Rogers, Lillian Krenick
and her stepfather, Jimmy D. Bush.
Pallbearers will be Fermin Torrez, Bryan Wolfe, Michael Boggs, Tommy
Lucero, James Wolfe and George H. Wolfe.
Lucy Martinez
PREWITT Services for Lucy L. Martinez, 73, will be announced
at a later date.
Martinez died Nov. 25 in Albuquerque. She was born Feb. 4, 1932 in Prewitt
into the Red Running into the Water People Clan for the Towering House
People Clan.
