Timothy Yellowhair
KAYENTA Funeral services for Timothy G. Yellowhair, 49, will
be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 2 at the Kayenta Bible Church. Bob
Manymules will officiate. Burial will take place in the Kayenta community
cemetery.
Yellowhair died March 27 in Albuquerque. He was born Feb. 18, 1956 in
Kayenta into the Reed People Clan for the Two Waters Run into One People
Clan.
Yellowhair attended Kayenta Boarding school, Monument Valley High School,
school in San Diego, Calif., Haskell College, Kan., and in 1991 graduated
from the Crownpoint Institute. He drove buses for Kayenta and Albuquerque
schools. Yellowhair was last employed as a homehealth care worker in
Albuquerque. He enjoyed powwows, reading, sports, seafood, reggae music
and traveling.
Pallbearers will be friends and family members.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Kayenta Bible Church.
Sheldon Hoskie
FORT DEFIANCE Funeral services for Sheldon Hoskie, 30, will
be at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 1 at Rollie Mortuary Palm Chapel. Pastor
Dennis Gardner will officiate. Burial will be on a private land in Twin
Lakes with full military honors.
Hoskie died March 28 in Fort Defiance. He was born Dec. 16, 1974 in
Gallup into the Mexican People Clan for the Salt Water People Clan.
Hoskie served in the US Marine Corps in Southeast Asia.
Survivors include his daughter, Tyree Hoskie of Fort Defaince; son,
Tyrrell Hoskie of Fort Defiance; brother, Gerald Hoskie of Gallup; grandfather,
Anderson Cadman of Twin Lakes; Eunice Cadman of Twin Lakes and mother,
Margie Hoskie of Window Rock.
Hoskie was preceded in death by his grandparents, Nanbah Hoskie, Robert
Hoskie, Sr., and David Reeves, Sr.
Pallbearers will be John Hunt, Jr., Fred Keams, Adrian Long, Theron
Owens, Gabe Reeves and Jude Reeves.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Vera Ellen Brown
CHURCHROCK Services are pending for Vera Ellen Brown, 37.
Brown died March 29 in Gallup. She was born Nov. 7, 1976 in Gallup into
the Meadow People Clan for the Red Running into the Water People Clan.
A family meeting will be held this evening at 7:30 p.m. at the Churchrock
Chapter House.
Compassion Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Albert Castle, Sr.
GALLUP Services are pending for Albert Castle, Sr., 94.
Castle, Sr. died March 29 in Gallup. He was born Jan. 18, 1911 in McAllister,
Okla.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
