Lavern G. Pittman-Newsom, Jr.
LAKEWOOD, Colo. Services for Lavern Gene Pittman-Newsom, Jr.,
22, will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 15 at Rollie Mortuary Palm
Chapel. Gene Clark will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery
in Wheat Ridge, Colo.
Survivors include his father, Lavern Newsom, Sr. of Gallup; mother,
Theresa Newsom of Lakewood; sister, Arlyss Marie Newsom of Phoenix;
grandmothers, Beulah Donoho of Tenn., Arlyss Newsom of Gallup; grandfathers,
Pat Donoho of Tenn., Howard Newsom of Gallup and Clinton Pittman of
Ore.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Buster A. Villani
LAS VEGAS, Nev. Buster A. Villani, 85, died Feb. 25 in Las Vegas,
Nev. He was born Dec. 25, 1919 in Berwind, Colo.
Villani served in the US Air Force during WWII, in the Pacific Theatre.
He moved to Gallup in 1946 and was employed with Gurley Motors prior
to retirement. Villani was a member of the Gallup Elks Club, Knights
of Columbus, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Yeis, and the Gallup High School
Boster Club.
Survivors include his wife, Della of Las Vegas; son, Tony of Dallas;
daughter, Vicky of Las Vegas and two grandchildren.
Villani was preceded in death by his sister, Flora Guadagnoli. Interment
was in the Las Vegas, Nev. on March 1.
