James Masci
GALLUP Services for James Reed Masci, 43, will be at 10 a.m.,
Friday, May 3 at Sacred Heart Cathedral. Rev. Lawrence J. O'Keefe will
officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
A rosary will be recited tonight, June 2, at 7 p.m. at Rollie Mortuary
Palm Chapel
Masci died May 29 in Gamerco. He was born June 13, 1961 in Gallup. He
attended the New Mexico Military Institute in Roswell for three years
and graduated in 1979. He also attended NMSU in Las Cruces. He enjoyed
rodeo and the outdoors. He was an artist and liked to travel.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Masci of Gallup, brother, John Masci
of Gamerco, and sister, Venus Masci of Taos.
He was preceded in death by his father, Corradino Masci.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Estrada, Richard Estrada, David Torrez,
R. J. Ferrari, Greg Masci and Manuel Valles.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Barbara Williams
GREASEWOOD SPRINGS, Ariz. Services for Barbara Chester Williams,
82, will be at 10 a.m., Friday, June 3, at the Greasewood Springs Catholic
Church. Fr. Flann O'Neil will officiate. Burial will follow in the Greasewood
Springs Community Cemetery.
Williams died May 28 in Phoenix. She was born June 15, 1924 in Greasewood
Springs, Ariz., into the Red House People clan for the Edgewater People
Clan.
Williams was a rancher, housewife and she enjoyed nature, tending to
animals and gardents and she liked to travel.
Survivors include her son, Ross Williams; daughters, Mary Jane Begay,
Juanita Williams, Katherine Joe, Shirley Williams, Betty Bahe, Lavina
Williams, Dee Ann Williams-Leal and Matilda Dickie; 12 grandchildren
and one great-grandchild.
Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Otto Williams; sisters,
Fannie Mae Yazzie, Lilly Long and parents, Arthur Chester and Jane Pete.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Williams, Nathan Williams, George Leal, Andy
Bahe, Simon Jim and Leander Ben.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Greasewood Springs
Chapter house.
