Isaac Allison

TOHATCHI — Services for Isaac Allison, 96, will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 6 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Rev. John Mittelstadt, O.F.M., will officiate. Burial will follow at the family cemetary in Tohatchi.

Allison died June 30 in Gallup. He was born November 11, 1908 in Tohatchi into the Hairy Ones Clan for the Red Running into Water People Clan.

Allison was a rancher. He was a retired El Paso Natural Gas employee. He was a direct decendent of Chief Manuelito.

Survivors include his daughters, Isabell Allison, Flora Claw, Grace A. Smith and Elsie Watson, all of Tohatchi; sister, Faye Yazzie of Tohatchi; 15 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Allison, Dave Allison, Phil Allison, Gilbert Manuelito, Virgil M. Smith and Elton J. Watson.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
