Katherine L. Riley

LAGUNA — Funeral mass for Katherine L. Riley, 61 will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 28 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Laguna. Burial will follow in the Cubero Community Cemetery.

A rosary will be recited this evening at the family home, House 33 in the Laguna Housing Subdivision.

Riley died Jan. 26 in Laguna. She was born March 23, 1943 in Cubero.

Survivors include her husband, Roger Riley, Jr. of Laguna; sons, Roger Riley III, William Riley, Julian Riley, Sheldon Riley, all of Laguna; sister, Lucy Nation of Moab, Utah; brothers, Florencio Chavez, George Chavez, Samuel Chavez, Crecencio Chavez, Edward Chavez, all of Cubero and seven grandchildren.

Riley was preceded in death by her parents, George and Frances Chavez; sister, Edwina Montano and brother, Daniel Chavez.

Pallbearers will be Pat Salazar, Kenneth Lucas, John Scott, Gary Chavez, Louie Ortiz and James Chavez.

Compassion Mortuary of Grants is in charge of arrangements.

Stella Saucedo

GALLUP — Funeral services for Stella Saucedo, 66, will be announced at a later date.

Saucedo died Jan. 25 in Gallup. She was born Jan. 27, 1938.
