Ann M. Meese
ALBUQUERQUE Funeral Mass for Ann M. Meese, 94, will be at 11
a.m. on Monday, Feb. 21 at Sacred Heart Cathedral. Father Mike Vigil
will officiate. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
A visitation will be held Monday, Feb. 21 at Rollie Mortuary Palm Chapel
from 8 to 10:30 a.m.
Meese died Feb. 16 in Albuquerque. She was born Nov. 21, 1910 in Cerrillos.
Meese graduated from Gallup High School. She was an Avon representative
for 35 years. She enjoyed embroidery and crossstitching.
Survivors include her son, Vern Mellinger of Gallup; daughter, Mary
Lou Saucedo of Albuquerque; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Meese was preceded in death by her father, Peter Zanardi; mother, Louisa
Zanardi; sisters, Mary Ardry, Rose Ray, Louise Zanardi; brothers, Angelo
Zanardi, Barney Zanardi, Charley Zanardi, Louie Zanardi and Pete Zanardi.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

TSAYATOH Funeral services for Jimmie James, Sr., 63, will be
at 1 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 21 at Rollie Mortuary Palm Chapel. Pastor
Eddie Rodriquez will officate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
James, Sr. died Feb. 16 in Chinle. He was born Nov. 17, 1941 in Blackhat
into the Salt People Clan for the Red Streak Running into the Water
People Clan.
Survivors include his mother, Nora W. James of Blackhat; sons, Elroy
James of Rock Springs, Jimmy James, Jr., of Blackhat, Leroy James of
Gallup, Nathaniel James of Blackhat; daughter, Olivia James of Blackhat;
sisters, Sarah J. Arnold, Edith James, Sadie Tom, Gladys Yazzie all
of Blackhat, Helen J. Felson, Marie Miller both of Yatahey; brothers,
Benjamin James, Francis James, Henderson James, Lorenzo James, Raymond
James all of Blackhat, Andrew James of Mentmore; stepdaughter, Nicole
Amber James of Blackhat and 10 grandchildren.
James, Sr. was preceded in death by his father, Noel H. James.
Pallbearers will be Elroy James, Jimmy James, Jr., Jimson Marvin James,
Leroy James, Nathaniel James and Shane Kyle James.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Dixon Womack
GRANTS Funeral mass for Dixon D. Womack, 72, will be at 10 a.m.
on Tuesday, Feb. 22 at St. Teresa Catholic Church. Father Matthew Keller
will officiate. Burial will be in the Grants Memorial Park with full
military honors by the Grants VFW.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 21 at St. Teresa
of Avila Catholic Church.
Womack died Feb. 16 in Grants. He was born Sept. 19, 1932 in Albuquerque.
He was a U.S. Marine in the Korean war and a longtime officer with the
Grants Police Department and the Cibola County Sheriffs Department.
Survivors include his wife Margie Womack of Grants; daughters, Norma
Marez of Grants, Ramona Ort and Debra Womack, both of Calif.; son, Dixon
Womack Jr., of Calif.; sister, Gloria of Calif.; 14 grandchildren and
33 great-grandchildren.
Womack was preceded in death by his parents, Percer and Helen Womack.
Pallbearers will be Ray Garinger, Jeff Marez, Joshua Miller, Sergio
Arellano and Ivan Arellano.
Compassion Mortuary of Grants is in charge of arrangemetns.
