Richard Menapace
GALLUP Memorial services for Richard Alan Menapace, 72, will
be Saturday, Feb. 19 at 11 a.m. at Rollie Mortuary Palm Chapel. The
Very Rev. Lawrence J. O'Keefe will officiate.
Menapace died Feb. 17 in Gallup. He was born Jan. 27, 1933 in Gallup.
Menapace graduated from Gallup High School in 1952. He was President
of Rico Land and Cattle and past co-owner of Rico Motors. Menapace enjoyed
hunting, fishing, rodeo and ranching.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn T. Menapace; daughters, Penny Matkovich,
Cherry Menapace; brother, Howard Menapace; sister, Lorene Pomponi, all
of Gallup and three grandchildren.
Menapace was preceded in death by his father, Rico Menapace; mother,
Ethel Menapace; brothers, Buddy Menapace and Francis Menapace.
Pallbearers will be Brent Butler, Richard Duran, Jerome English, Bill
Joines, Chuck Matkovich, Danny Matkovich, Howard Menapace, John Menapace,
Marty Menapace, Mickey Menapace, Johnny Thomas and Butch Turpen.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the First Baptist Church
following services.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Amercian Heart and
Lung Association or charity of choice.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Mayme Y. Willie
BREADSPRINGS Funeral services for Mayme Y. Willie, 78, will
be Saturday, Feb. 19 at 1 p.m. at the First Assembly of God Church.
Pastor Bobby Willie will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial
Park.
Willie died Feb. 15 in Gallup. She was born Aug. 12, 1946 in Breadsprings.
Survivors include her children, Ben C. Willie, Alvin Willie, Rose Begay,
Roseanne Willie, Betty Willie, Elsie Willie, all of Breadsprings, Jimmy
Willie of Twin Lakes, Sammie Willie of Smith Lake; sisters, Mary Sonders,
Lillie Josley, both of Breadsprings, Annie Chee of Gallup; brother,
Mark Spencer of Breadsprings; 21 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Willie was preceded in death by her parents, John Copey and Bah Mike
Copey; sons, Jerry Willie, Benny C. Willie, Sr.; brothers, Harry Billy,
Mark Begay, Bobbey Copey, Johnny Copey, Jr., Willie C. Copey and sister,
Nellie C. Begay.
Pallbearers will be Sammie Willie, Alvin Willie, Herman Copey, Benny
Willie, Jr., Jimmy Willie and Chris Begay.
Compassion Mortuary of Grants is in charge of arrangements.
Robert C. McKinley
ROCK POINT Funeral services for Robert C. McKinley, 84, will
be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 19 at Lukachukai Catholic Church. Burial
will be in the Lukachukai Catholic Cemetery.
McKinley died Feb. 11 in Lukachukai. He was born July 15, 1918 in Rock
Point into the Tanglewood People Clan for the Red Runing in theWater
People Clan.
McKinley was an ambulance driver when he was younger.
Survivors include his sons, Johnny McKinley, Donald McKinley; daughter,
Josephine McKinley; brother, Bernard McKinley; sisters, Mary Harvey,
Nellie Oliver, Elsie Johnson and Lucy Vandever.
Pallbearers will be Lionel Harvey, Ryan Harvey, Vincent Johnson, Jerry
Johnson, Johnny McKinley and Bernard McKinley.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Lukachuaki Chapter
House following the services.
Tse Bonito Mortuary is in charge of arangements.
Dixon Dee Womack
GRANTS Services for Dixon Dee Womack, 72, are pending.
Womack died Feb. 16 in Grants. He was born Sept. 19 in Albuquerque.
Compassion Mortuary of Grants, is in charge of arrangements.
Jimmie James, Sr.
TSAYATOH Services are pending for Jimmie James, Sr., 63.
James Sr. died Feb. 16 in Chinle. He was born Nov. 17, 1941 in Blackhat
into the Salt People Clan for the Red Streak Running into the Water
People Clan.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
