Dennis Leza

GALLUP — Funeral mass for Dennis A. Leza, 37, will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb.12 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.

A rosary will be recited this eveing, Feb. 11 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church at 6 p.m.

Leza died Feb. 8 in Albuquerque. He was born Feb. 14, 1967 in Gallup.

Survivors include his daughters, Angie Daggett of Phoenix, Angel Leza of Albuquerque; mother, Margaret M. Lewis of Mesa, Ariz.; brothers, Fidel A. Leza of Gallup, Ricky J. Lewis of Las Cruces; grandmother Candie Mazon of Gallup; sister, Candie M. Silva of Gallup and one grandchild.


Jane Mondragon

GRANTS — Funeral services for Jane Kathryn Mondragon, 64, will be at 2 p.m. today, Feb. 11 at Grants Mortuary Chapel. Father Alberto Avella will officiate.

A visitation will be held from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. today.

Mondragon doed Feb. 7 in Grants. She was born July 14, 1940 in Baltimore, Md.

Mondragon was a homemaker and artist who loved spending time painting.

Survivors include her mother, Antoinette Daugherty of Tempe; sons, Randy McWhirter of Houston, Chris Ruff of Riverside, Calif., Bruce Ruff of Grants; daughter, Shelly Fiscus of Houston; brother, William W. Daugherty of St. Louis, Mo.; and numuerous grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, William W. Daugherty.


Louis L. Kiszka

GRANTS — Funeral mass for Louis L. Kiszka, 76, was this morning at 11 a.m. at Saint Teresa de Avila Catholic Church. Father Matthew Keller officated. Burial followed in Grants Memorial Park.

A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 10.

Kiszka died Feb. 8 in Grants. He was born July 11, 1928 in Carlisle, W.Va.

Kiszka joined the US Army after he graduated from high school. He worked for Kerr McGee Mines for 25 years and at Chevron until he retired. Kiszka was a lifetime member of the Moose Club, Knights of Columbus, Elks Lodge, Saint Teresa de Avila Catholic Church. He enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce J. Kiszka of Grants; daughters, Theresa Summer of Texas, Lillian Gallegos of Grants, Nina Pratz of Albuquerque, Norma Smart of Kennedy, Texas; sister, Mary Kiszka of W.Va.; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Kiszka was preceded in death by his parents, Sebastian Kiszka and Antonina Glenka Kiszka; 11 brothers and sisters and one grandson.


Randy H. Largo

WILD CAT — Services will be announced at a later date for Randy H. Largo, 25.

Largo died Feb. 8 in Gallup. He was born Jan. 19, 1980 in Gallup into the Towering House People Clan for the Red Running into the Water People Clan.

A family meeting will be held tonight at 4 p.m. at the Rock Springs Chapter.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.


Edward M. Padilla Sr.

GALLUP — Services for Edward Manuel Padilla, Sr., 75, will be announced at a later date.

Padilla, Sr. died Feb. 10 in Gallup. He was born Aug. 8, 1929 in Grants.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.


Mary Wero Carson

CROWNPOINT — Services for Mary Wero Carson will be announced at a later date. Carson died Feb. 10. She was born April 15, 1926.

There will be a family meeting at 5 p.m., Feb. 12 at the Crownpoint Chapter House.

Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
