MANUELITO — Services for Leonard Chee Sr.,
69, will be 10 a.m., Saturday, April 17 at Cope Memorial Chapel. President
Lonnie Porter will
officiate
Burial will follow at Gallup City Cemetery.
Chee Sr. died May 12 in Albuquerque. He was born May 14, 1934 in Manuelito into
the Bitter Water People Clan for the Black Streak Wood People Clan.
Chee was employed with the railroad, and at the lumber mill as a laborer . He
wasa foster grandparent for Manuelito Head Start. His hobbies include collecting,
ranching, traveling and farming.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah Silversmith Chee; sons, Leonard Chee Jr., Foster
Chee, Ryan Chee, Jayson Chee, Curtis Chee and Jervin Chee; daughters, Anastsia
Chee; and six grandchildren.
Chee was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Smith and Leonard Tsi Ginnie;
and grandmother, Asdz Nasbah.
Pallbearers will be Leonard Chee Jr., Foster Chee, Jayson Chee, Ryan Chee, Jirvin
Chee and Curtis Chee.
The family will receive friends and relatives after the burial services at Manuelito
Chapter House.

TOHATCHI — Services for
Kenneth Haskeltse, 94, will be 10 a.m., Saturday, Apirl 17 at Rollie
Mortuary Palm Chapel. Pastor Bobby Boyd
will officiate.
Burial will follow at private family cemetery.
Survivors include his sons, Jay John Kelsey and Thomas Ray Kelsey both of
Sundance; daughters, Christine Begay of Sundance, Jeanette Manuelito of Tohatchi;
sister,
Christine Martin of Mont.; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Haskeltse was preceded in death by his parents, Johanna and George Haskeltse.
Pallbearers will be Clinton B. Begay, Peter M. Begay Jr., Vincent C. Begay
Jr., Leo A. Manuelito, Mario A. Manuelito and Michael L. Manuelito.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Lillie H. Bizardie
LUKACHUKAI,
Ariz. — Services for Lillie Bizardie, 84, will be 10
a.m., Saturday, April 17 at St. Isabel Catholic Church, Lukachukai. Father
Carron
Vollmer, OFM, will officiate. Burial will follow at Lukachukai Community
Cemetery.
Bizardi died April 11 in Flagstaff, Ariz. She was born Jan. 2, 1920 in
Lukachukai into the Mexican People Clan for the Sheaves Under His Cover
Clan.
Bizardi was a homemaker and a weaver.
Survivors include her husband, Amos Bizardi; sons, Larry Bahe, Benjamin
Bahe, Anthony Bahe, Roger Bahe and Leo Bahe; daughters, Ella Mae Bahe,
Loretta
Dedman and Joann Notah; brothers, Chee Harvey and Burt Harvey; sister,
Lula Yazzie;
18 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Bizardi was preceded in death by her son, Tully Bahe; parents, Lillie and
Sam Harvey; sisters, Margaret Chavez and Elizabeth Sacetero; brothers,
Augustine Harvey and Joe K. Harvey.
Pallbearers will be Gilbert K. Harvey, Bennett Tso, Tina Notah, Raymond
'Bill' Yazzie, Craig Bahe and Delbert Notah.
The family will receive friends and relatives after the burial services
at Lukachukai Chapter House.

Ernie Van Thompson
SEATTLE,
Wash. — Services for Ernie Van Thompson, 41, will be announced
at a later date.
Thompson died April 12 in Tacoma, Wash. He was born March 29, 1963 in
Crownpoint into the Folded Arms People Clan for the Towering House People
Clan.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
